Gateway Motel — Hotel in Ross Township

No matter your religious beliefs, or what you believe or don’t believe in, there at that hotel sits a guardian angel that is posted there 24/7. Wether he was brought there by a random path or a set in stone plan by something or someone far greater than ourselves, I am still unsure about. But I do know he seems to only care about everyone around him and would give anything he could just to help you on any journey you’re on. He is one of the most enlightened peoplecive had the please to meet in my 30 years on this earth. Not only does he restore your faith inhumanity, you might even find he has sparked a new found hope for us humans that you’ve never felt before. Very rarely does a person walk in the manner he does. Helen Keller herself would be able to tell in 30 seconds or less that he is as genuine as they come. He lives and I mean I’ve seen him only care to help the hikers and any other human in need. Find someone completely selfless in the year 2023. I’ll wait. His name is satish, and will not only make you rethink how you’ve been treating people and yourself, but he will put an itch into your soul that is so deeply rooted, that you will find yourself immediately trying to aid him in his quest, and pass on the amazing help and kindness that he will most definitely show you. Please if you’re reading this and may one day visit that hotel or already have, or plan too or even live close, i sincerely ask for you to aid satish with his mission to feed, house, and clothe any Appalachian mountain hiker that passes through. He has become the BEACON of light for all who hike the Appalachian trail. The hotel is beautiful and secluded and quiet and he puts a blanket of calm serenity over the property and woods. You truly feel you are at home when there, but somehow still far away from the home you always knew. He is the best I’ve ever seen in any hotel position 100%. You might be able to be greedier and make better profits then him, but you will not be a better host to a human than him! What he has done to that hotel and area and the community of hikers is unexplainable even to my standards. See for yourself. If you’re ever throwing away something that a hiker could use, please stop by and enjoy the company and conversation of the best man I’ve ever met.

He is not a spirit who sees another one’s physical color, he is one of the truly spectacular spirits that sees nothing but your worth and your soul! This may sound really dramatic but I speak from experience. one full night I spent with him after ubering him home from the hospital and deciding I was too tired to drive home. He refused to let me pay, and made me feel so comfortable I felt I was sleeping over at my brothers house like back in the day. I too am now full set and focused to help him. The potential he has, and how close he has taken this mission of his to becoming a viral firestorm only feeds my hunger to stand behind him ever more.

Anyone who has any survival or camping supplies, food that you don’t want or could donate, and any other supplies you’d could help him help provide to the hikers, I would greatly appreciate it. I too am currently putting together a bunch of stuff for him and plan to visit him weekly. To whomever I have reached, please KNOW that I will be here to believe, think, will, and pray nothing but calm and serene peace to wash over you and your loved ones and take away all of your struggles and worries.. Satish doesn’t know I’m writing this, and is so humble would think I’m talking of him to highly. But I’m not. Satish isn’t running for mayor or governnor on earth. But best believe that you will be able to vote for him when we pass over to the other side and leave this green earth. I've stayed in low-end places before and have been satisfied because I got what I paid for. But here I got much less than I paid for, and that might have even been true if I'd paid half. ||||Where to begin? It's kind of like shooting fish in a barrel.||||Inside the room -- I had seen the reviews saying that management has recently renovated the rooms. All I can say is that if you were given a picture of my room and were asked whether you thought this was a "BEFORE" picture or an "AFTER" picture, you would have definitely picked BEFORE. My favorites were the missing shower control that was replaced by a pair of pliers, and the massive stains on the carpeting, and the hole in the ceiling over the bed. I needed to help the staff move a fold-out sofa that was blocking the path to the rest of the room. At least I was given a guided tour about where to avoid banging my shins into exposed bedframes.||||Outside the room -- I arrived at night so I missed the full effect. But there was a vacuum cleaner parked right in front of the room door, that I had to move out of the way before I could get in. In the morning, though, I was able to see the huge pile of used mattresses, cigarette butts, and empty beer cans. Lovely.||||Check In -- The odd thing about check in was the strange procedures for Internet access. I got the WiFi password no problem, which I was able to use no problem, but the staff required me to log in to the network using all my devices (my phone, my laptop) before I could complete check-in. This process lasted about 15 minutes as I was asked for the device names on my devices, and the IP addresses. Ultimately, they gave up trying to identify my devices, and I still have no idea what they were trying...

I just checked in last night and wanted to wait until the morning to write a review, going through a bit of a rough time and the gateway has been the light at the end of the tunnel, me and my girlfriend checked in last night at 10PM very much so after hours but the woman we spoke to on the phone was more then accommodating having their maintenance man come out and show us the room before checking in, upon getting ready to pay we didn’t know about the fee so we needed to run and get cash he was very patient with us while we ran to the atm for the cash, very nice guy and a very painless process, alot of these reviews have more complaints then good I read them 100x before calling, and if your like me in that aspect and need someone to reassure you let me be the first my room is honestly amazing I haven’t slept so good in I don’t know how long I can’t even really say I have any complaints the only issue I can think of is the tile on the bathroom floor being cold mind you it’s about 20 degrees out so if that’s my only complaint this place has hit every single mark possible. Come give them a chance and be highly surprised especially if your local and have heard stories, the least I can say is this is most definitely highly...
