We stayed in Thelmaās garage and loved it! Had everything we needed. We took long soaks nightly in the duo claw foot tubs. Also liked that we had a full size frig/freezer combo and microwave, a dining table and chairs and two queen beds. The floor to ceiling wall art of shirtless Brad pit in a cowboy hat was so cute and also one of Thelma and Louise on the wall with the lounging sofa. The decor was Devine throughout. We sat by the outdoor fire pit in the evening and enjoyed the brisk air and the beautiful pastures before dark. We visited the Wander Innās gathering place and The Crown for ice before the trip home. It is very relaxing there and peaceful. The hot homemade biscuits with jelly and butter arrived daily, wrapped in a red bandana and placed in a tin bucket. So yummy! Will definitely recommend highly and will stay again. I could go on and on. Found a one of a kind necklace at Junk Gypsyās Store and went home with 5 of their small wines for family and the cutest little pop belly bottomed coffee...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAmazing, wonderful, dreamy, magical, these words donāt even begin to describe our stay at the Wander Inn. My husband and I spent three days in Round Top, it was our first time away from the kids since we became parents five years ago. This was more than we couldāve ever asked for. Kelley was the most amazing host, so friendly and accommodating and down-to-earth and did I mention she brought us warm biscuits in the morning. We were greeted each morning on the back porch rocking chairs by a herd of Longhorn amongst the backdrop of the beautiful Texas Hill country, truly picturesque. Our room had the most amazing decor that I like to describe as luxury boho with a country chic twist. From the hand painted curtains, luxury linens, two person tub to the record player, leather bound journal, library of eclectic books, the Wander Inn has every detail thought out and it truly shows! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! Weāll come back...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt's always been a dream to be able to stay over at Wander Inn. I turned 60 (!) with 15 of my favorite people in the world last Saturday and Sunday with an Almost Famous themed weekend. We booked Crown and Star Houses. From the moment we arrived, (early) we were just going to drop off a cake so it wouldn't melt in the car, but the inn keepers team let us in early and told us all about how things work. It was Mark, Lisa and oh..was it Sandy? (I'm terrible with names!) They were so friendly we wanted them just to stay and join the party. They politely declined, but they were invited!
The property is everything I had hoped it would be. Clean, vast, charming, beautiful, indulgent...I don't have enough words of joy to describe our stay. Ending the night at the firepit was perfection.
Wander Inn & Junk Gypsy feels like home, if home was a magical place out in the country.
I dream in sequins, and I will see y'all...
