Cabins on Bearpen Creek — Hotel in Royse City

Waited outside 50 minutes before figuring out for ourselves where the key was to get inside. My calls and texts went unanswered the whole time! Cabin appears clean, but be sure and check under beds and sofa cushions. They should really replace the sofas in the Heth house. Be sure and take bug spray with Deet if planning on being outside. My 3 year old granddaughter had a TICK on her thigh!! Doesn't appear that they really prepare for each guest's stay. The porch area, while very inviting, is full of cobwebs. It should be pressure washed at least once a week...come on yal! If it rains, be careful with the wet wooden steps...they are VERY slippery...my son fell on the bottom step and my daughter nearly fell while on the same steps! We left the cabin cleaner than we received it for sure...wish i could give a...

What a blessed experience. This place gave me, my daughter and grand babies a chance to reconnect after a very long difficult 17 months of life’s challenges. I made my one year anniversary of breast cancer recovery this year. Staying at a cabin with family was on my bucket list of things to do. Thank you Kathleen and Shawn for providing such a beautiful place to relax and have fun. We stopped by the hardware store near the cabin to get firewood. Lois helped us and was extremely kind. How many people walk out to the car from the store to see you off, chat and wish you well. To anyone considering this location, don’t hesitate. We did not want to leave after two nights. Best...

Beautiful trees, nice green grass, cozy porch and gazebo with wooden chairs for seating. Great flat price, no hidden fees or up charges for each kid. We stayed in the 2 bed/2 bath 8 person cabin built 2016. The owner spared no expense on the cabin. High quality building materials. White linens and white bathrooms so you know your living in a clean environment, no hiding behind dark towels, sheets or dark grout. The fire pit has a grill on it and we did use it for tin foil dinners and s'mores. We were happy not to have Wi-Fi. Bring board games. Pet friendly. We are a family of seven and we felt we had plenty of room. We will definitely go back again and recommend to family...
