This place is so run down!!! We were told we could check in at 1:30, but the staff was still “cleaning” and preparing the room at 2:45. Our bed sheets were dirty. No sheets on the boxed springs. We didn’t have pool or hand towels.the bath towels provided smelled horrible of mildew. The stuff in the coffee bar looked old and dirty. Palms have totally overgrown all walkways and paths. The patio furniture is all broken/destroyed at the pool. A gigantic wooden pole across the back door is the security lock with just some simple chain across the front door. And the bathroom window lock was broken off as well. We aren’t returning anytime ever. Maybe this place used to be a resort, but as Airbnb’s go, it’s not well kept.

I've stayed in a couple of vacation units here and have had a good experience each time. The back parking lot is confusing to guests and everyone double/quadruple parks. So if you get there late on a busy weekend, good luck finding a spot. Unfortunately, the family pool doesn't have any lights at night. Everything is clean and maintained, and the extra resort amenities are a plus. Each visit has been quiet and relaxing.

This place is adorable! Today is my last day here and I don’t want to leave. The location is great because you are out of the chaos of downtown St. George but it only takes a minute to get to the hot spots and spring events. Our little bungalow was cute and clean and the Melted Massage was heavenly. This might become a new Valentines week tradition.

Pros: -Amazing room with comfortable bed and cozy fireplace -Jetted hot tub and plush blankets -2 televisions in the room -Outdoor patio near pool

Cons: -No alcohol license for another month -New staff not familiar with area -Chef out sick, no replacement therefore no onsite restaurant facilities -No shuttle service

My wife and I came to St. George for a day trip and along the way experienced some vehicle trouble that put the vehicle in a shop in Cedar City for the weekend. In an effort to get to St. George, and our room, we arranged to ride on the St. George shuttle (separate shuttle) as Cedar City didn't have Uber services. I contacted our 4 diamond resort and was told shuttle services for the resort were not offered, even in St. George so, needed to take a taxi after an hour shuttle ride into St. George. We got to the resort late, famished from our arduous journey, we asked about onsite food services and were told they were not offered by the staff, we would learn the next day that there is a restaurant however it was closed because the chef was out sick. As we had no vehicle we walked to the nearest restaurant which we were told by staff was at the "bottom of the hill" this was not the case as google had us walk 3.5 miles to the nearest restaurant. To top this off, on the resort webpage I was given the impression alcohol services were available (poolside or something) but informed resort would not have license for another month; don't visit...

Last weekend I had a girls/roommate reunion at Amira. It was picturesque! So so wonderful! I was very happy with my experience here!!! First of all the staff was very friendly and helpful! They were very warm and gave us and our luggage a ride to our room on a golf cart. Definitely made us feel special. Second, the room was a great place to relax and visit. With the super comfy beds, the fire place, the big bathroom for all of us girls, and the fridge and table for all of our snacks for our late night conversations, was exactly what we needed. And third, the facility provided all the fun activities that you could want for a girls weekend! There was quick access to pools as well as the spa where you can truly indulge and treat yourself. Such a wonderful weekend!

I strongly encourage anyone to come check this place out! It was a perfect place to relax and enjoy some girl time! Loved every minute!...

My husband and I were visiting the area to see national parks. We truly enjoyed our stay. It was a very relaxing atmosphere and the perfect place to unwind after a day of hiking. After getting back from our trip though, we noticed our bank account has been charged twice for the massages we had booked. I called three separate times to ask them about it. After each call, I was told that they would call me back within the hour. I never received a call. Finally, I called a fourth time and a friendly staff member told me that she would delete the extra charge and email me a receipt. I never received the email, and they never deleted the charge. I contacted my bank and after a very long time of them not hearing back from Amira, they decided to just delete the charge for me. Overall, a wonderful experience at the resort itself, but very disappointed with the lack of communication of...
