Food was absolutely delicious (insert chefs kiss)! We had calamari and bruschetta for appetizers and they did not disappoint. They offer a great wine selection and very limited beer selections. For dinners we ordered a variety of dishes black ink squid pasta, signature carbonara, spaghetti with meatballs, a salmon dish, and a filet mignon dish. All of us were very satisfied with the plating presentation and the taste. Portion sizes were a lot larger than we expected, so we all had plenty to take home. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful, explaining the menu and dishes to us for being first timers. The only downfall was that the other staff working there were standing around, seemingly not friendly. Our whole group noticed the unapproachable feeling from them and how the waitresses were very busy and the others were not. During the time we were dining in the tables filled up quickly with many guests and those employees were still stationary the entire time. Other than that observation our experience was great and we will definitely return.

We visited Nonna Ina for the first time. The restaurant is clean and newly refurbished to look like an Italian Bistro. It is so nice to have table cloths and cloth napkins. You are definitely not at Olive Garden. It's nice to see someone trying to do finer dining in this family dining town. The restaurant was a little loud with the tile floors, but what are you gonna do? You start with a basket of warm sourdough that was lovely. Although one of the servers was a little quick grabbing our bread plates. I had the spaghetti. I really enjoyed it. It had a slightly smokey taste. The pasta was a nice al dante. My partner had gnocchi in a cheese sauce. The cheese sauce was to rave about. A nice gorganzola flavor. Unfortunately, the gnocchi were tough and rubbery. They were a little like those pre-packaged gnocchi. Gnocchi should be light and pillowey. These were dense and rubbery. If I were to go again, I would order a quart of that cheese sauce, but stay away from the gnocchi. Next time? The carbonara and their salads look amazing.

We have gone a few times just to try multiple items. First, is it the only authentic Italian Restaurant in Southern Utah. Next, the owners are amazingly warm people that truly care about every customer that comes in. Last, is the food! I watched everyone leaving, as the owners says good bye to them and thank them, they all say the same thing, The Food Is Amazing! We have to agree. We have had multiple dishes and each time we are blown away as it transport you to Italy. And the deserts, the best Cannoli I have had and the Tiramisu is amazing. Cannot recommend this place enough, which we have done and everyone thanks us for referring them. Update; We cannot go a week without going back to Nonna Ina’s. I think we have tried every item on the menu and each one is amazing! They added a new desert item, Panna Cotta, wow, it was better than we had in Rome. I love seeing all the families there as well. Tonight I got an amazing Steak, I have had three different ones and each has been better than any steakhouse. Buon Appetito!

Found this place while visiting one of the shops on that corner, so I looked this place up on google and reserved a table for the wife and I the next Friday night. We enjoyed our visit, service and the food. My wife, of Italian heritage, can be a connoisseur for Italian foods; Nonna Ina having its own variance. This is defiantly NOT your Italian Garden restaurant chain (which we never care to visit).

Our server, Kara, was attentive with service the entire visit. Immediately upon sitting down, bussers brought water glasses and a carafe.

To start the wife and I ordered the bruschetta with chianti and Riesling. As for wines, they offered a decent variety of red and white wines. The bruschetta was freshly prepared, with the mix of tomato, parmesan slices, oregano, and balsamic glaze. The bread was perfectly toasted; not too crispy and not too soft.

For the entree, the wife ordered their signature carbonara and adding shrimp, I ordered their lasagna adding mushrooms. The carbonara was very creamy and cheesy. Kara, was pleasant while we asked questions of our own curiosities regarding the parmesan cheese the carbonara is prepared in. The shrimp was sautéed well and soft; not having a crisp (not overcooked). I might add the mushrooms were sauteed well soft and not a crisp.

Lasagna was thick, multiple layers, the meat was small chunks and red sauce full of flavor, covered with mozzarella and sprinkled with grated parmesan cheese. To my surprise, I found prosciutto, which was an added flavor and making this lasagna one-of-a-kind from all other lasagna I've had. We ended with cannoli's for dessert. They were small compared to what may typically be served, however served in a pair, which was perfect size for adding the sweetness after a meal and for two people.

Indoors was quant. When we first arrived, there were tables available, however quickly filled up. I recommend making reservations to guarantee a table as they may not have one available for a walk-ins. Our next visit will be a request for their outdoor patio.

Overall, it was a great experience for us. My compliments to the staff, and the chef, who demonstrated pride and passion for the food and service. Overall, a great experience and I look forward to the next visit.

Other guests have unfairly lowered ratings due to parking, or website. Take note, there are 3 other restaurants and multiple business on this same strip corner... Its not this restaurants fault there is not much parking. Besides, what is the matter with parking down the street? I've been in large cities, where you have to walk a mile to get to your desired location, while some people complain about walking 100 ft or so... As for a website; no they do not have a website, they have Instagram OpenTable. There is plenty of information about this restaurant to look into. Honestly, some people look for anything to criticize or display their...

Not super impressed. To start, we got seated promptly , there was no wait. Great! We sit, got our waters and then we look around and see other people getting seated and they get the menu explained to them. We did not. Oh well. We ask for 2 drinks. 1 comes. 1 didn’t. Not the end of the world. We had them take it off at the end. My girlfriend ordered, spaghetti noodles w/alfredo, it wasn’t great to me. She didn’t eat it. We actually did go to Taco Bell and get her something..I ordered a steak that had sautéed onions on it. I personally didn’t like it, it was too sweet but the steak was cooked correctly. I did eat half it and just scraped the onions off. It was 3/5. What’s strange though, is there was a few berries, a tomato, a single grape. The plating was weird..but the main reason I’m even sharing my experience, is the owner responding to these negative reviews and not taking any accountability. Making excuses for how the restaurant is ran and not actually caring about what is said. There’s always room for improvement. Of course, I don’t expect the owner to actually care about what I’m saying here. Read his responses to the other 1 star reviews and you’ll see what I mean. But overall, we did not get great customer service the girl who served us was nice enough but not attentive at all. To the table near us she was though. Had we ordered something different, maybe some of the dishes are good. But not the ones we ordered. I worked in fine dining for 4 years which is why I normally don’t post reviews because I understand things happen. But with the owners responses, food not being great, service not great, atmosphere not great. I felt a review was due here. There’s alot of room to improve here. EDIT Again, with the responses. Justifying yourself and not accepting responsibility. Instead, justifying why you’re right and why my experience means nothing. Calling me Ken? Haha I’m just leaving my opinion here. I gave your steak a 3/5, Im not sending it back because I understand a steak isn’t cheap for the restaurant and it’s what I ordered. Just not what I expected. I don’t need reading glasses and I don’t need you need to pay for my mistake. They might be trained to ask plenty of times but they didn’t…I don’t care if you don’t believe I’ve worked in fine dining. But, “bro” your response is exactly why I decided to go through with my honest review. You’ve called me “Ken”, said I don’t know how to treat a women, said I needed reading glasses, made fun of my “noodle” remark? That’s really an important part here? Be accountable, set your ego aside. I’m...

I wanted to love this place from the reviews but our experience was terrible. There is literally nowhere to park unless you go down the block. The decor inside was so old and tacky. The bathroom was moldy and smelled terrible. Our table wobbled the entire time. It took at least 20 minutes after we sat at this wobbly table for a server to come to our table. When she came she only asked what we wanted to eat and disregarded we didn't even have a beverage yet. I had a question regarding a menu item and she gave me an incorrect answer because when it came it was something completely different. She never came back to ask how everything tasted like they are supposed to. Flagged her down to ask if I could have it switched to a different item because the 1 bite I took was so off tasting it I couldn't eat it. I think something might have been spoiled she said yes, took my plate and disappeared for at least another 35 minutes. During this time we watched the servers go into a dry storage closet to pour people's wine!!! There is no bar or sanitary place to get their drinks from, people! As a former bartender and cocktail server this was a huge red flag. Why don't they get it from the kitchen at least! My entree came (it was ok) and I asked for the check and they charged me for the first entree they took back. We asked about it and they said their policy is to never let people switch and charge for every item. Then who I believe was the owner came over and told me I should have just boxed up the first item to take home and not expect to get anything else from them even though the server described the item wrong then said I could switch it. This woman seemed so agitated and used a confrontational tone. She eventually took the item off but we won't be back. After all that we never even complained we just asked why the item was on the check!!! No customer...
