Peaceful Cottages — Hotel in Saint John

Our time at Peaceful Cottages was delightful! What a great value! It was true to what we read and to the photos that were shared online. My wife and I were hesitant about staying in a place with no A/C in August but it did in fact cool down nicely at night making sleeping very pleasant. The mornings were a perfect temperature to sit outside with coffee and toast. Yes there are frogs that sound like birds singing and some other night sounds, but they are pleasant to the ear, not obtrusive and if you have any years on you, it may remind you of sleeping with the windows open when you were a kid. We slept better here than at home! The outside kitchen in the bigger cottage was so much fun! In fact, we only ate out once. Although we spent our time outside most often the inside was roomy and comfy enough as well. The owner, Trevor, would most often stop by for a short chat at the end of the day to see how things were going. If you had a question about the island, he had the answer! He was a great resource and had some good sea stories as well. The location was great for exploring as you could take off either to the west or to the east. Less than 15 minutes...

20 years ago we traveled to St Thomas and spent one day on St John's last week we decided to spend eight days on St John's in peaceful cottages. The location was absolutely fantastic our main goal of our vacation was to go from Beach to beach hike trail to trail and it was truly the best time we had. Being nestled in a valley you hear the sounds of chickens, and goats. the evening always brought wonderful breeze that makes the sleeping kind of chili. We cooked out in the outdoor kitchen every night. This is a big tip for you which saves you a lot of money when you are there many days.on St John's. We would go back to this...

This place is a scam and No Safe!

This place don’t have TV, AC and all screens are damaged, so bring a lot of OFF with you. On 11-19-2018 I got a couple things stolen at this place, because it is located on a very remote area in St. John with No security of any kind, Police report: STJ18OFFD01132, and the owner after being notified about what happened he shows no interest on the situation, simply denies all that I said and leaves the property right after I let him know the police was on their way to the property to fill a...
