The improvements to this RV Park have been nothing, but amazing. The new concrete slabs for RV's, to the future plans. This park will be on the must stop by list in no time. It is on the River so you can relax and it is quite and reserved for those wanting to get away from it all.

Nice place. The docks however need replaced, badly. Residents are great and friendly and there are events happening. Fantastic party for Memoral day.

Unless you’ve researched and visited other RV resort parks in Florida you will not appreciate what an exceptionally nice 55+ park Hide-Away in Ruskin is. This is our first time RVing and our first time here. So we thought maybe we would possibly like something better if we took the time to look around. We visited, literally, 21 other RV Resort parks, driving throughout, checking out the restrooms and laundry, the club houses and pools. Researching activities and amenities. Out of 21 parks we found only two or three that were acceptable to us and nice, but none nearly as nice as Hide-a-Way RV Resort here in Ruskin, Florida. There are some issues with the WiFi, although we personally, for the most part, had no problems getting online. We love the Manatee River, just a short walk from our RV site, the pool, the community fire pit, the recreation hall, decent showers, very nice spacious laundry room, the clean neighborhoods, friendly people, and exceptional staff and maintenance. (For those who complain about the sites being tight, check out other RV resorts and you’ll find they are pretty much all the same, with some being even tighter!) Another exceptional feature we did not find in any of the other parks is the entrance into this park. It’s a long palm tree lined road, 1/2 mile long, with only a few homes closer to the entrance from the main road, otherwise a secluded and lovely drive to the main park. We are looking forward to coming back here next winter (we’re Ohioans). If A+ is perfection, I would give this park an A. It’s that close in...

We spent February 2020 at River Vista and found it quite comfortable and centrally located to many activities in the St. Pete and Tampa Bay area. Situated off of US 41, it's relatively quiet. The "village" is on the bank of the Little Manatee River and includes permanent homes (park models) as well as a large amount of RV sites. Full hook ups, some premium sites on concrete and paver patios and others on dirt with concrete patios, most are nicely spaced with room to breathe between them! The usual pool, clubhouse, laundry, and library are available, as well as monthly entertainment options. There are large areas with picnic tables, fire pits and a boat and kayak dock. The random crane and tortoise roam the park and dolphins and manatees are in the river. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I didn't give 5 stars because of a few items - there were still areas I will call "under development" along the river bank - and they are upgrading several of the sites.....so it was ugly to look at. I hope they can get it finished soon. There was not a dog park, but lots of green space to walk your pet. And mainly, the WiFi - it was terrible. We even opted for the $15/month upgrade - and it was a waste of our money. I really don't understand why these RV parks are not upgrading this amenity. The park is conveniently located to I-75 and you can easily travel to any major city on the west coast. Overall we enjoyed this park over any other we've been to in Florida and hope to...

River Vista RV Park has truly become our summer sanctuary! Each year, we eagerly anticipate our weekends spent here. As business owners, having a close getaway is a luxury, and River Vista provides the perfect escape.

The accommodations are fantastic! From the sparkling pool to the well-maintained shower house, everything is designed for comfort and convenience. The facilities are always clean, making our stay even more enjoyable.

One of the highlights for our family is the array of summer events. My kids absolutely adore the parades, and they particularly look forward to the exciting water fight—it's a highlight of our summer! The sense of community among the residents and staff adds to the charm of the park, and we often find the staff to be friendly and helpful.

Another great aspect of River Vista is its proximity to the river. We love taking our boat out for fishing and just hanging out on the water. It's the perfect way to unwind and enjoy nature.

We can't wait to spend many more summers at River Vista RV Park, creating unforgettable memories with our family and friends. If you're looking for a fun and family-friendly place to relax and enjoy the outdoors, this park is...
