Blue Coyote Ranch was the perfect space for our wedding and we feel so fortunate that we were able to use the ranch for our special time. Being locals to the area we knew we wanted to have the wedding close to home while also providing comfortable and unique accommodations for our out of town family and friends. BCR checked all of the boxes and more for our vision and guests. We stayed on the property for the weekend to soak in the love and many of our family members took advantage of the private, cute and highly functional cabins on-site and unique inn rooms while they were visiting for the week of celebrations. Having the option to have our closest family members and friends stay on property provided easy transition, less driving and an intimate time together. Our beloved pup even got to enjoy all of the festivities with us! The cleanliness of the inn, cabins and property are top notch, the amenities are modern and create comfort, the backdrop is beyond beautiful and the attention of detail in all aspects of the property make you feel special that you are there. If possible, I probably would've never left and moved into BCR full time (husband and pup in tow of course)! Sara, Mike and team have thought of it all and then some. If you are looking for a special and functional space in the mountains for your event, look no further!

This venue exceeded our expectations! We rented out the cabins and the main lodge for our wedding and was blown away at the cleanliness and amenities! Sara and Mike are absolutely fantastic hosts! We couldn't have asked for a better location and backdrop! The extra work that was put in by her and her team made us and all the guests not wanting to leave! Each cabin was so cozy and felt like a home away from home. Our families ate mostly in the main lodge with the amazing table that somehow accommodated everyone! To have all the family in one room was quite remarkable and enabled us to have memories that we haven't ever been able to have! From the walking trail, to the dog park, hand-made custom bean bag toss boards, the outdoor covered dance floor, plus the benches, aspen arch, walkway with Flagstone, needless to say there were so many details that we are beyond blessed to have Our Wedding at this exquisite site. Then when our florist disappeared a month before our wedding she connected us with a new florist! Even helped us get set up with American Adventure Expedition rafting company, and even Captain Zip-Line Adventure Course!

Stayed in the Henry Tudor suite and it was a fantastic experience. The owners are friendly and responsive, and provided us with a home-cooked breakfast and entertainment in the form of their tiny Pomeranian, Moose. The room had a legit hot tub, Jack and Jill sinks, and a super comfortable four-post king bed. Finally, the property sits near the top of a hill, so the room and building have great 360 views of the gorgeous terrain around it. The only (very minor) thing I could say was a con was that the hot tub was a bit confusing to operate. The water was VERY warm, and I was hoping to turn it down a bit so I could enjoy it longer than a few minutes, but the instructions were a little unclear on whether or not it was ok to turn off the heat. Like I said, very minor. I'd highly recommend this place if you're exploring the central Rockies. and want a unique stay!

Oh that terrible moment when you wish you could give MORE than five stars ✨ This place was A M A Z I N G! Our expectations were knocked out of the park!!! My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and it was absolutely perfect. Prior to our stay, after we first made our reservation, the owners purposed to contact us to ask if they could do anything to prepare/make our stay better. They even asked about allergies and dietary restrictions. Upon arrival, we were already swept away. It’s a beautiful little building nestled in nature. We found instruction easily (just park, grab your envelope, and unlock the place for yourself) It was quiet and peaceful. We also loved how the took the extra intention of hand-writing our name in the most adorable font on the envelope. It definitely made it feel super special for us two honeymooners (which they didn’t know about by the way) When we walked through the door, we found a neat little info desk and the cutest staircase. The place was decorated in a lush Scandinavian style (my fav!) which made it feel both homey and cozy, as well as otherworldly and exotic! We signed up for the meal and moseyed on upstairs to our room. It was OUTSTANDING!! I have never seen a bed so big!! The whole place was lovely, and the views were spectacular! We stayed three nights, and loved every minute. The breakfast made for us each morning was to die for! (I wish I had snagged her blueberry bread recipe... or all the recipes for that matter) The coffee was delish! Their customer service, warmth of hospitality, and general kindness was wonderful! We also loved the little souvenir mugs they had available. We now drink out of them every morning. I SOOOO recommend this place!!!!!!!!! We will be back year...

I can’t say enough good things about our experience at the Blue Coyote. We were 30 people strong for our family reunion. From an old man in a walker to a 2 week old baby, and everything in between, our group spanned the generations and the ranch could not have been more perfect for all of us. The lodge rooms and cabins are beautiful, and well appointed, and the views and vistas on the property are breathtaking. It is truly a special place. Even though we were spread out in the lodge and among the cabins, there were so many great gathering spaces to bring us all together. We particularly loved mornings with various groups gathering in the lodge coffee room, and evenings at the firepit, laughing and storytelling about our Salida adventures! Then there was hot-tubbing and rock painting on the back deck; another great gathering spot ! We took advantage of the large lighted outdoor stage one evening for our family talent show and spent another evening indoors in the lodge having a karaoke dance party and playing jumbo size Jenga ! The lodge spaces allowed ALL of us to be having fun all together in one place at the same time. Sara and the staff at the Blue Coyote were there at a moment’s notice to take care of every little thing we needed but otherwise gave us complete privacy during our stay. Sara even came out of her house at dinnertime at our request, to take a group photo for us! The price was very reasonable considering all the amenities we had access to and the service we received. If you are looking for a super fantastic and special place to host your group, look no further. You won’t regret choosing the Blue...
