Surf Inn — Hotel in San Clemente

Currently here for a night and I am in love!! I've stayed at many hotels around San clemente, but this one has already got a special place in my heart. My room is big, bathroom nice, shower hot. I love these little motels, and this one is probably the best I've experienced here in San Clemente. The people running it are VERY nice. However (and this was my mistake), I had my friend and her brothers over for a little while. I should've known about the no guests policy, that's on me. But when I left during the day, the woman (I'm guessing she's a manager or owner) was sitting outside of my room and very politely asked me who was staying. She was VERY polite, normally you don't get that in these situations. But it made me really appreciate that they watch who is coming and going from the rooms, I feel safe here. My belongings feel safe here when I leave. Very good spot....

Nice on the outside, had the option to pay cash which i liked. I could unfortunately hear all the neighbors and their kids. But the rooms look nice. Has microwave and mini fridge, cable , store about a 2 mile walk. Next to Carls Jr., Cristianitos Camp Pendleton gate. House of Trestles Surf shop is next door, near Jack in the box and O.C tavern and other bars. 1 bus takes you to beaches and nearby shops. Also to Newport beach Fashion Island. Rooms could have a better paint job and better toiletries but it was cheap per night so i dant complain. Room got fairly hot. A.C...
