Rocks the size of grapefruits in the strong waves hit the kids and adults on ankles. Waves are often strong and crash close to shore and can be extreme.
Place is not too crowded and good for wave and people watching. Also great place to hike. Not great if you want to get in the water.
Campsite overlooking the ocean is nice but I prefer to drive to a different beach.

There are plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby for last minute needs and the campground staff were polite and nice. The beach walkway is conveniently close across the parking lot. I will definitely be back and will continue to recommend...
