We were just there June 28-July 6th. Came with 3 other families. There was 23 of us total 4 trailers. Kids stayed busy playing in the forest. No Mosquitoes. So so so nice having Full hookups. Gravel roads. Kids could bike everywhere. Showers were good. Used the laundry room as well. Make sure to have lots of quarters. No fire pits so we brought our propane pit. Store had all the essentials you needed. ||||There are people that live there year round and some VERY run down trailers. But none of that bothered us. You really don’t see anyone hanging outside their campsites. We played a lot of games and it didn’t bother anyone. ||||One family with a couple young kids came by and visited. So nice. ||||Big green field on the side so we could play football and baseball with all the kids. ||||10 minutes to Sandpoint city beach (we went every day almost)||50 minutes to Coeur D’Alene ||||I wouldn’t suggest drinking the water at all. We left stuff out and we weren’t worried anyone would touch it when we left for the day. ||||Bobbi was so accommodating and helped us get our friends closer to us. Great store staff||||Trains....you do hear them every 40 min but it really shouldn’t even bother you. It’s not that loud either. You don’t ear plugs 🙄. We don’t sit there in silence waiting for the horns. It came and went on and off in the day. Doesn’t matter where you are in Sandpoint or Sagle, you hear it. At night in the trailer you don’t hear it at all and we are...
Read moreTenting here is not fun. There's hardly any trees/shade to get your tent out of the hot sun. Also I swear trains go by in the middle of the night every 20 minutes. Couldn't get any sleep. The wifi also never works for me but everyone else said they got it working on their device. I also think it's stupid that only one person is allowed to be in the showers at a time. We used to go in as a family and while one brushed their teeth, the other would take a shower, and then they would switch and it was much more convenient, efficient, and faster. Now we all have to crowd in the skinny hallway waiting for only one person to use the bathroom at a time, even though it takes way longer and we block the hallway from other people who want to use the showers. I don't know who created such a stupid system but I go in with my husband anyway because it's too ridiculous of a rule to follow. The only good thing about it really, aside from the hookups, is the fact that it's the closest campground to Sandpoint...
Read moreThis park has great potential but make no mistake this is not a camping RV Park. It is primarily year round residents who will complain about you if you listen to music, hang out outside your RV, talk to loud or attempt to socialize with them. In addition to this the staff is extremely unprofessional and very rude. Other issues here are the adjoining mobile home park that is part of the same property owned by someone named Nelson. It is mostly a dump of a trailer park with mostly derelict old mobile homes filled with drunks, meth heads and other addicts. The sheriff came more than once during my stay. If you choose to come stay just be warned, this place is run a like a little fiefdom by the staff and residents who make it painfully obvious that outside guests are a nuisance that they must endure and they would prefer you stayed someplace else. At the end of the day there are places WAY BETTER than this. So if you are looking for a place to camp fpr a night or a month I suggest you look...
