My husband and I had a great time fishing from the patio deck did a much needed rest and relaxation🎣. So everything was good until the toaster didn't work, I really think before renting out cabin they should make sure everything is working... stove, oven you get the point. Called it in and instead of changing it out this idiot came in the cabin and look at the toaster said it was fine I had to go over all the details really like he didn't believe me...long story short the guy handled it wrong. really upset me, just wanted toast and coffee ☕. Check out the tiny TV😲

Santee lakes is still a hidden gem in san diego. A beautiful place for tent and RV camping with your family but the best of it all are the cabins. We always have a great time here. We stayed in cabin 4 this time from 6/9/22 to 6/12/22. Its very comforting and relaxing. There are many activities to do. The campground is always clean and the staff are all stars. If you are looking for an awesome and safe place to be with your family then look into santee lakes. We highly recommend it and we will be coming back again and again.

We had a very good time here. Our stay was 4 days and there was much to do: paddle boating, fishing, feeding the ducks, bike riding, hiking, barbecuing, and roasting hot dogs and marshmallows around the fire pits. Each cabin had its own fire pit and sitting area right on the lake's shore. Cabin was a bit cramped for sleeping 4 people, but that was a very minor con against so many awesome pros. I will definitely return and recommend it as a great family, couple, or single getaway. Very nice!

Our cabin was pretty small, but very clean. There's 1 bedroom, bunk beds in the small hallway & a large futon couch in the living room. There's only 2 electric burners, but no oven & a microwave for cooking. The cabin also has a propane grill & fire pit on the lakeshore. I enjoyed having my morning coffee on the porch with the great view of the lake. There's so many things to do including pedal boats, several playgrounds, pool & jacuzzi, & fishing at several lakes. Unfortunately, the splash pad was closed at that time. There's no pets allowed in the cabin so we also rented a camping site where they are allowed. Use the checklist on the website because you have to bring your own linens...sheets, towels etc. Overall it was a great experience for my whole family. I highly...
