Great offroad/ camping place. My dad and i went for the weekend with two kids (10 and 7). And this place has mud riding all figured out. If i dreamed and built my own park, it would be darn near just like this one. First thing you need to know about mud riding is theres some essentials... First you need to be able to ride on some decent trails that arent completely bogged down. check Their trails are great! Theres two "sandbars" which are like beaches off the little river that runs through there. Are the trails to get there are very kid friendly. I was telling my dad i could probably drive my truck down there, if it wasn't for this one bad spot.. and low and behold not 20 minutes later they had two guys down there on excavators fixing that one bad spot! Awesome! They have attention to detail! For every area we rode in that was a little sketchy for me (im a take-it-easy-and-chill kind of driver) they had a path off to the side to go around it. So i could choose if i wanted to go through some rough stuff or some easy stuff. I LOVE THAT! I dont like when im at a park that you dont have that choice. Its either go through it or turn around. So i applaud wild country off road for that! So theres plenty of good open trails on 1000 acres to take the kids (and me) on. Next thing you need when you go mud riding is a place to clean your bike and your butt! check They have what looks like a brand new shower house built right next to the rv area. A big nice place with a few toilet stalls amd then probably like 4 shower stalls on each side. Plus theres like 4 outside shower stalls if you just need a quick rinse. And right next to that is the best wash station ive ever used mud riding! 4 giant hoses with some serious water pressure behind it. We usually end up pressure washing the bikes when we get back home... oh no! No need for that when we go to wild country offroad! The last thing thats a must-have.. at least for my family is some good eats! Ya gotta have something to soak up the beer right? check They have a friggin restaurant on the property! No.. im not saying this is a snack shack. Ive seen those. Its a full resturant. I had hamburger steak with onion rings and mashed potatoes! So good! So we enjoyed this place so much that now weve got a whole group getting together to go...
Read moreOne of our favorite parks- and we have been to them all w/i 100 miles ... owner is very kind and has great plans for this park... He works hard to plan events worth attending. Little cabins are just enough space - the one we had has 3 sets of twin bunks (one has double on bottom) - small dinette table w/ 2 chairs and a bathroom w/ toilet and sink.. not enough floor space to add a mattress... and Bring linens ... and I’d suggest mattress topper, the mattresses are thin and not comfy LOL but won’t stop me from staying again and again. Restaurant up front is huge, clean, nice staff and great food. Trails need some marking/signs as it’s easy to get turned around... but there are plenty of them! Plenty of mud holes or dry ground for either interest... bath houses are super clean for a muddy ATV park full of ppl having fun! hot showers are great... wash rack gets a little hard to get to toward end of weekend, but it has GREAT pressure! The sand bars, river and creek bank are clean and refreshing (DO NOT RIDE IN RIVER! That can cost you big bucks w/ the state!) ... camp sites are good.. prices are more than fair ... we have been a few times and will be back many more times!! (Just my 2 cents- I’d suggest giving little to no thought to people who leave 1 star reviews w/ no explanation - I think that should be required- but the way google gives you ‘points’ for reviewing now- it lends to ppl just going down a list marking a star- as a small business owner, this makes me sick)
New update on our visit, we rented 5 RV spots for 4 days on new year's weekend which cost us close to $2000 bucks and they ended up cancelling everything they had planned for new year's weekend because of the weather which was absolutely stupid, we drove over 3hrs to come and have fun which turned into a nightmare, the river was over flowed and they never gave us a warning until we got there,so we had absolutely no place to ride because of the river, they need to build more trails to ride when river is high, fill trails with rock to get threw water, build a bridge to get to places better etc, the park was completely empty and they stuck these young punks across from us that partied till 7am playing loud music and keeping us up all night, they have no security to handle problems like this which sucks, also we went to dinner at there restaurant and waited 2 1/2 hrs for our party of 13 to get there food which was freaking crazy and they weren't even that busy we where 90% of the people at the park, while we sat and waited for our food we watched local people come in and sit down after us and get there food way before use, also watched 4 people order at the counter 1 1/2 hrs after we did and they still got there food before us, they did nothing to help us out with the bill which was another $300 for all of us to eat, not cool at all, anyway we had a horrible time, they should reimburse us half our money back for cancelling our new year's weekend events and concert, unbelievable how much this cost us and it was horrible, not a good new year's weekend
Awesome ATV, park brand new facility's clean bathrooms, but has only been open for 7 months, they have very little SxS and ATV parts available, so make sure you bring extra parts, they also need more wash bays and more trails, and definitely more trail signs and arrows to get back to camp, need more cash registers etc etc, we also talked to the owner and he plans on having all RV spot's congreted instead of all the sand, can't wait for that, Boggs doesn't even have that so that will be a plus for a RV owner, we plan on going back when they are more established and ones they get everything together it's going to be a very nice ATV park, well...
