We arrived at this place at like 1045pm. 1) I had to wait at the front desk for atleast 10 min because no one was just there. (I heard like someone was watching a movie in a back office (behind the wall)) 2) Registration was fairly quick. 3) Lobby and hallways smell like someone was smoking weed 4) On the pictures, the room looked descent 5) In real life .. "Not so much." 6) The room was very dusty and outdated, but I'm not talking about outdated... dusty and well used was my concern! We travel in our camper, and we got the room to accommodate 5 (2 adults and 3 children) On pictures and in room description, it stated that the room will accommodate 5. We went for it Room had 2 full-size beds, and that's all (not counting 1 office chair, table, microwave, and mini fridge), but that's ok. 7) In a room, you can find dust on places that shouldn't be dusty. Even 1 blood splatter was noted by my wife. I jad to beind a mattress from my camper for my son to sleep on. (And that's ok) I ordered my kids to not take their flip flops off because the carpet was visibly dirty. Pillows were sweat odorized (I had to bring pillows and blankets from our camper!) The only clean were toilet bowl and shower woth towels. Well, you be the judge.. check pictures. As a last resort , this will do, but with major modifications. (Bring your own pillow and blankets, that's for sure) One other thing... I had to keep guard by the camper outside on the parking lot ; because one person "on a shady car) near our camper decided to replace his brake pads, then his friends pulled up, and then 3rd person pulled up to their company I moved our camper on to well lit spot, but then the person who was working on his car , parked next to me. I was there until he left (done fixing his car), and the other "his friend left" only then I went to a room. While passing through the lobby, the receptionist had friends over, who decided to install a fan in the middle of the lobby, and had her belongings on the lobby couch across from the reception area

100% DO NOT recommend. Booked this hotel for a week of work because it was the closest to the site. After my travel day, and a quick visit to the site. Took 3x for the room key card to work right. Let's start with the hallway. If there could be some sort of horror-movie music playing, it would fit. I don't think there was a wall that wasn't marked up, missing bits, or stained. Well, heavily trafficked area, perhaps the room would be better. Wrong. Once I got in the room, (again, key programmed 3 times), I though the A/C was off. It was that stuffy in there. Nope, it was set to 68*. It felt like it could rain in the room at any moment. I set the temp down to 64* to try and get some moisture out of the air. Then, I started to actually look around at the room. I should have never checked-in. The walls were stained and discolored, which thanks to the very minimal lighting, was difficult to see. Upon closer inspection, I'm fairly certain some of it was just stains and discoloration, but mold. Those are the 2 pictures I've posted. The carpet was torn up, smoke detector dangling from the ceiling, lamp shades hanging on by a thread....literally. I booked a Hampton Inn up the road and immediately left this building that should be condemned. The one shining, spot: people were nice. That's not worth a case of scabies though.

What started out as a well deserved vacation turned into a nightmare. The folks at the front desk started off welcoming. I was patient with them as we could not check into our prepaid room until well after 5:30. The bathroom toilet seat was broken and there were scuff marks everywhere and a hole in the wall. After calming down I dropped my bags and heading out for some fun, we returned around 2 am to eat and go to bed. Pulled back the sheets and found the bug. Went to front desk and they gave me another room. I packed up and headed to the next room. Unpacked, getting ready to finally eat and a roach crawled across the tv. My video was too long so I couldn't upload that one. We packed up, checked out and had to drive around at 4 in the morning to find somewhere else to stay. Mind you, I don't live in Mobile. I live in Chicago! All this took place on 3/1 and the manager still won't release authorization to Priceline to refund my stay. He is giving Priceline the run around even though his staff saw the videos I showed them on my phone. He called and offered me rewards points for a future stay. DO NOT STAY HERE! Oh and BTW don't eat at Whataburger in Saraland either cause they have roaches as well.

Where do I begin? I was evacuating my family from the hurricane and found this hotel online. I reserved it online through Expedia. I marked the pay at property option and thought nothing if it. We got there late as the roads weee full of evacuees. The lady at the desk said she has to change my reservation and do a new one because it was so late, then she didn’t know how to charge me the correct amount, said she was new to the job, but would give me the room and I could just come pay when I woke up. I said ok and went to the room and slept, even though the blanket and sheets were filthy under the top sheet, blood and dirt, so I pulled them off the bed and slept til around 10 when I started getting calls and knocks at the door. I woke up and went to the door where the housekeeper ask me if I was checking out. I said no. She said I need to go pay. I told her I was but was sleeping. I went in the room to get my shirt and shoes. I got another knock at the door. It was the main desk lady I guess. She was mad and not nice at all. She said I was in the wrong room and I had to leave. I said I’m not leaving and I was coming to pay. She said it was the wrong room and I had to leave, offering nothing else except she would make me leave then and walked away. I was shocked. It was crazy for her to act like that it for us to be treated that way. I called Expedia and held and talked back and forth with them. They called and tried to resolve it for me to have the room but that lady refused. She wanted to honor the other reservation and not mine. She said I had to move to another room or leave so I then paid for another room plus the night I had arrived. Another woman was handling this transaction and I knew it was prudent to video record the transaction because of their behavior towards me. The new lady then saw me recording and went berserk and said she wouldn’t give me a key because I was recording, that she would sue me, that I was crazy for doing that etc etc. At this point I was paid but she refused to give me a new room key. I was stuck at the front desk for at least ten minutes w no one there and no one responding except to insult me. Then the cops showed up because she obviously called them. Mind you they have cameras everywhere, but the cops showed up and then escalated and threatened me further even though it was unlawful and I had done nothing wrong but go to the room they originally gave me, followed their instructions, and was moving to a new room after paying. Even still the cops says they could kick me out just because they wanted to because it was private property and I had no rights. It’s obviously not true and every person has their rights on private or public property. A private business cannot kick you out unless you violate their policies or local laws. Even then the cops can’t solicit a trespass. You have to be warned then violate policy or law again, then they can but as a business it’s certainly not advisable to start that talk for your own mistakes…Also Alabama is a one way consent state. So you don’t need anyone else’s permission to record a conversation you are a party to. I just put in a complaint about the satsuma police. I will take up litigation against them and this la Quinta. None of it was necessary and they blamed me for their own mistake. Maybe they hate me for being different color and sex than them or maybe they blame me for something they hate about themselves? I don’t know or care but I know my rights and I know they are worth fighting for everyday and everytime. I wish I could attach the videos, but I can’t. The whole staff, except the lady that does the breakfast and the inexperienced lady I first checkin with,...

Truth be told I will give you an honest review . If you truly believe any negative ones I will try to change your mind. First off the people here are amazing. I mean amazing. Super friendly . Extremely kind and will help in any way they can if you have an issue. I didn't have one. But someone lost their license and they found it for him in the parking lot . The place smells amazing and fresh we ( my wife and myself ) have been here alllll day and night. Haven't seen a single bug . People who post a pic of a bug.. let me explain this in one word . ALABAMA. We have bugs galore.. the people and family who own it are amazing. Extremely pet friendly. If you have a larger critter they are very very kind about it. Just be a good pet parent and make sure you take them out and take care of them. Rooms are clean. Beds are so soft so so soft pillows clean great breakfast I am assuming considering how amazing this place is . I havent had it but will in the morning. Y'all this place is a gem. The pool was clean and wasn't pumped with just chlorine. They actually clean it. It has a hot tub currently the pump isn't working but things happen to fail you can still sit in it it has nice water.. at the end of the day if you are still reading this. I have to admit..... It's one of the best places I have stayed at value. These rooms should be at least 150 a night. Big big big flat screen in the room plenty of towels in the clean bathroom , great water pressure. I can go on for days . The staff tho and owners. .. seriously. They are not pretend kind they are genuinely kind and very family like. Please book here. I am not paid to say this nor do I work here or know some one who does. I am just a trucker who stubbled upon an amazing place with my wife and 2 big dogs . Trust me. You will...
