I live in the area and used to frequent this park often, so I decided to book this past weekend to break in my new camper, first time in a few years at SC. The pull-thru site I was assigned was nice and wide; however, my experience this time had a few negatives: - the electricity had recent been re-done and the site was caliche gravel where the lines had been dug up - not too bad...till the thunderstorm Saturday night turned it all to a nice thick mud. - The water bib was cracked and spraying a small but steady stream of water, maintaining a nice muddy area around the hose connection. - The cable connection didn't have a signal coming from it. - The hours on the family pool said it stays open till 10pm; however the gate was locked when we tried to get in at 6pm. - Was assigned one of the only spots in the park without a covered picnic table. - The neighbors (long-term) had windchimes that rang all night long. - Overnight/weekender sites should be separate from the long-term sites. Some of the long-termer sites are a little bit "ghetto" and detracted from the overall impression of the park, obviously a little more downhill than my last experience several years ago. Still, a fairly decent RV park in a great location. Owners just need to be a little more involved in the upkeep and camper expectations.

We came to Sam Amtonio to visit our friend Bebe and found a spot at Stome Creek. The creek runs through the middle of the park but there was no water in it while we were here. The park is right off the freeway but there is not too much nose. Also close to train tracks nut againwe found them ro not ne intrusive. Mostly lo g termtenants in park but very clean and neat and quiet. We loked it so much we were able to extend our stay. Our site was a pull through and very wide and spacious. We had room for our 38 foot motor home and jeep. We had a patio with a roof and a picnic table. Park is well maintained and has partial shade from trees. Our site (11) was uneven and we had to pull the motorhome up on 2 inch blocks on the drivers side. The sites are gravel and crushed rock. My only complaint with the crushed rock is it tends to splash on your rig when it rains. They offer free wifi and a paid version. The free wifi worked well most of the time but had a tendency to disconnect which is pretty common at RV parks. We wouls stay here again.

We were set to stay for long term, unfortunately something came up and we had to back out. We were there for a week. The Manager did not charge us the full amount however she was very hard to deal with and get a hold of. Fast forward a few weeks I had realized that some of my mail was delivered to the campground. I attempted to get a hold of her to get my mail, she never answered and wouldn’t call back. She refused to put it in the mail box for me to get and even opened my mail claiming she “didn’t have my number”. I asked her to bring it to my brother who is local and she refused saying she would bring it to the post office. I attempted again to get it and upon finding out my mail was not at the post office I again called and left a message. I was informed I needed to get the police involved due to the fact she opened my mail without my permission. She still refused to provide my mail.

DON'T BOTHER. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND LOST MONEY.

Stars need to be selected to proceed, otherwise I would rate 0 stars. I made a reservation for an RV spot for some of our employees to stay in, unfortunately, I had to call back and let them know that we had a change of plans since our project changed. However, at this time, I spoke to Jackie and let her know that I would more than likely come back in a few days anyway. When I spoke to Jackie, I asked if there was anything we could do about the deposit and informed her we would more than likely have changes going on with the project, and I would probably need the RV spot anyway, which I needed less than 48 hours later. She never informed me that my deposit would be lost. Omission of information makes people assume things, she should've explained things clearly and I wouldn't have blindly driven there with an RV only to be met with horrible customer service. Before driving there, I called to let them know plans were back on and we could come in. I explained the situation, informed of a change in RV, and had no issues over the phone, made it seem as it was no big deal. However, things were completely different upon arrival. We had to send our '23 RV to another jobsite, but would be able to bring our smaller RV. This is an older model RV but in perfect working condition, otherwise we wouldn't bother putting an employee in it. I spoke to Jackie and another employee regarding the change, drove the RV 4 hours to the park only to be told that we needed to pay the $250 deposit again and were ultimately even denied the stay because our RV was "damaged" according to Jackie's observations. She didn't inspect it, she didn't see it plugged in, she simply saw it and I assume it was not pretty enough for her standards. In other words, our RV was not good enough due to it being an older model. It felt as though she was belittling us without good reason, the RV WAS NOT damaged. In addition, there were older run down RVs in the park so I don't understand the reason to deny us.

Now don't get me wrong, I know there are policies and technicalities, but in this situation I believe an exception could've been made and at the very least, offer good customer service. As a business owner, I would have the decency to honor someone's deposit that they just paid 2 days earlier, rather than try to take another deposit. That's just flat out unethical, policy or not maybe they need to learn how to treat others as humans rather than a simple monetary transaction. I understand if I hadn't come back at all, but that was not the case and there were also plenty of spots available, so I'm sure no business was lost in a matter of 48 hours. Jackie had a rude and condescending tone since I first talked to her. I held back and continued to work with her only because I believed I had no choice. I was under the impression all other RV parks were unavailable in the area, but I was confused with a different city and project that we were working on. Wish I knew sooner, I would've avoided this negative interaction. Greentree Village North was amazing, saved the day and let me bring in our RV quickly so that we could continue on to our next destination to set up another RV for employees.

I do not understand why this RV park has someone like Jackie working at the front office. She has 0 customer service skills and is outright rude and unbothered by anyone else's concerns. I have never felt humiliated the way she made me feel and it is sad that she continues to do the same to others as I've seen in several other reviews.

**edited to add in response to business response:

I wish it were true that we were given the option to stay in a different part of the park, as you say. Although it doesn't make it right and is discriminatory and horrible that as a business you admit that, it would've at least saved us the trouble of scrambling at the last minute while hauling an RV. It's not even about the $250 you took, it's the principle. Maybe your business needs it more than mine. But have the...

DO NOT STAY HERE I was a long term tenant here for 9 months. Office staff - cant even describe how rude and unprofessional they are. While the maintenance staff is nice, they are under qualified. There was a water leak outside of my camper but on their side of the water line. I was home upon their arrival to the site for them to repair the leak. When I left for work water was turned off and everything was in working order. Once I arrived back from work, my camper was flooded through the toilet. The black tank was overfilled and spewing out the back of the camper due to their negligence. They turned on the valve to my black tank rinse hose and left it on for hours until arrived back home. When my girlfriend and I went to confront them we were IMMEDIATELY shut down by Jackie (foreign person working front desk. Stay away at all costs im not even sure why they/them are working a customer service position) to the point of screaming and yelling in the office at 8am. Denied access to speak to management and maintenance. Once I was able to speak to a manager about the issue, she was already poorly briefed on the situation. No matter how many times I explained the issue no one could grasp the concept and refused to come and see the damage themselves. They denied responsibility and offered no solutions. I left the park with an almost totaled camper that is now in a shop until the unforeseeable future. I don’t understand how they could possibly treat a paying customer so poorly after the amount of money I spent staying at their facility.. All my neighbors agree they entire staff is incompetent and ignorant! They wouldn’t even allow my neighbor to re-stain his picnic table or level his spot on his own and he has been their multiple years. 0 stars.

Their reply below is incorrect the only reason I couldn’t get anything out of their insurance is because they don’t have cameras on the property and I didn’t record them turning the water on themselves. They never even came to look at the damage.. how would they...

My husband and I moved into the park when I was in the hospital due to complications from cancer. In order to keep me safe, he decided that we should move to the park (trailer) instead of our former residence. Because we rented from a friend we thought everything would be fine, oh that was not to be. It was as if lucifer himself came up from the sulfur and showed us this inferno of hell on earth. The park was dirty, unsafe, and the staff was as dry as toast!!! These people were mean, and disrespectful. I cannot believe how terrible we were treated. I advise anyone who considers stone creek rv park to consider it like this: 1, Its an RV park(if that tells you anyithing) DO NOT SPEND THE REST OF YOUR LIFE THERE AT ALL)!!!! 2, Consider the title itself Stone Creek Rv ...You should throw stones at it, and dismiss the title...I dont think I need to explain further, or even give it a number 3. I give it two enthusiatics thumbs down(I wish I had more thumbs) The electricity was shut off more than once because of power failures..(Time Warner is not a cable company they have ever heard of) There were Possums in the trailer because the trailer was not built properly, the faucets leaked, and the staff would not help. They close at 6 and if its 5: 45pm your screwed.! I never write reviews but, this has to be told....RUN RUN RUN.....If you have an RV drive , dont park, dont sit, dont look behind ..RUN!!!!. I wont waste my thumbs any longer, but you get the...
