Quiet, Clean and Comfortable Room ( Guesthouse) — Hotel in Seattle

Maybe I booked a strange evening but this hotel was disappointing. The host did communicate and provide all information for an easy checkin. However, the room I was provided looked like it hadn’t been cleaned.

There was what looked like a soda or food stain on the wall, leaves on the floor in the room, spider webs in the corner.

The private bathroom I was provided had hair on the “clean” towels and a towel was already on the floor. Terrible smell inside the whole place, it was reminiscent of cigarettes and old food.

A buddy of mine rented a room on the same night and was just as disappointed.

Location made it easy to get around but it was so bad we didn’t even decide to stay over night. There was no way I was going to trust the cleanliness of those sheets. You get what you pay for, spend the extra bucks and get a real hotel room.

This is a perfect place for a single traveler. No TVs, but everyone has a phone or laptop anyway and the Wi-Fi was better than most hotels. It's a very cool no-contact concept and the well-stocked kitchen has almost everything you need to cook, store or heat food. There are several visitor rooms and each room shares a bathroom with one other, but it was never any problem and all the common areas are cleaned meticulously each day. Honestly, the rooms are just okay. I initially accepted the shared bathroom setup, but I quickly realized how bad that decision was, it’s not comfortable at all. I was constantly disturbed. Being in Room 2, I was unfortunately located right by the main door and near to the shared bath, so I heard everything. Guests were always walking and talking through the common area. To top it off, they kept a bright hallway light on all night, and since there were only flimsy blinds and no curtains, my room was flooded with light. I got zero sleep and absolutely cannot...
