New Owners! Like, new as of today! Just happened upon them because I'm staying here due to the 40 E being closed to a storm. The motel wasn't supposed to be open today as they were going to spend some time renovating.🤣. But they decided to open because so many people were calling today. They are literally learning on the job and sold out! They are so new, they couldn't even find the keys to the Restaurant front door so people have to go in through the kitchen. I think it's one big family that bought it. They are all super nice! The place is very Rustic. I was concerned about bed bugs and roaches, but those didn't end up being any problem. whew! I couldn't get the VCR to work on the TV though... Yes, this room has a VCR player and some VHS tapes. 🤣🤣 Pizza and beer for dinner. Both were delicious! They're learning quickly. 🙂 I wish you guys the best! Keep up the great customer service.

We stopped here on a whim when our car was having problems and we needed a place to stop and get it fixed. This motel just happened to be the first one we came across and I wasn’t expecting anything nice. However, it has exceeded expectations! While obviously showing it’s age, the room was still clean and cozy and already warm when we walked in. Room had a TV with a roku so we were able to watch Netflix/YouTube/etc which was really nice. When we checked in, staff was super kind and friendly and said we were the first people they’d seen all day. Apparently just a couple other people staying at the motel. We spent two nights here waiting for our car to be repaired, and it was a nice quiet pleasant motel! The kids enjoyed riding their bikes on the gravel and paved patio and watching the trains go by. Loved staying here and grateful for the awesome staff.

Arrived late at night and was thankful to get a room, but after we saw what we were getting we wished we had just kept driving. The key wouldn't unlock the door so the manager had to use a master key to open it which left us with no room key. Next, the very old heater in the far corner didn't begin to heat the room so we were cold and uncomfortable all night. The bathroom was too cold to take a shower. Last but not least everything in this room was incredibly old. The fixtures, lighting, TV, were dated from decades ago and not in a retro, decorative style. Grungy stained carpet, pink bathroom tile, etc. I'm not sure why/how this place has any positive reviews unless we just got the only bad room there. Regardless, I would not recommend it and will not be staying there again.

Wish I had read deeper into the reviews before booking. We were highly disappointed in our over night stay at this run down unmaintained motel. First thing we noticed was the bed which was slightly leaning towards the headboard. Turn on the TV to find no satellite or cable only streaming, which initially would not work due to very poor internet connection, after contacting the office, a nice gentleman came out and after about 20-30, finally got us connected to a better signal, the next problem was that being streaming, not many apps were logged in and was told that people tend to use their own which removes the saved ones and there are too many for him to remember to reset them, fortunately Hulu was still logged in from a previous guest and we were able to watch TV. After getting internet online, I notice the heater controller has no batteries, which required him to go find some batteries. Heater was a nightmare, it would not shut off at desired temperature and we finally figured out to just shut it off when it started getting too warm, the only problem was in the middle of the night it would be very cold, turn heater back on then start sweating a little later when it was too hot again, needless to say, sleep was very poor that night. Around 9pm, the wife decides to take a shower only to run out of hot water less than 10 minutes in having to finish with cold water. The next morning around 9:30am, I attempt to shower only to have no hot water after 3 minutes, I contact the office and was told everything should be working and had guy check it out, about 20 minutes later I was finally able to take a quick luke warm shower. The most disappointing thing to me was the continual this never happens while at the same time making excuses as to why it was happening, and to make matters worse, not even an apology for all the inconvenience, pretty much felt like we got your $90 and you will never be...

We stayed at another place in Seligman last year and I would say we picked the better of the 2 this time around. It is great having the restaurant and bar on the same location. The food and drinks were good. The pizza is very good. Remember this is a small town so it took a while to get the food and it always felt like the bartender or person serving you the food was way behind. I would say this is because every person was served by the same server. I was at this location with a big group and some of the rooms were better than the other. My room had an issue with the key to the door. Only one key for this room and if you put the key in the door like normal it wouldn't unlock the door. If you pulled it out half way then the door would unlock. I have a problem when I hear that someone has owned this place for a dozen years and the simple upgrades haven't been done. I talked to the person at the front desk about the door and there was nothing they could do. My shower tile in the bathroom had some large cracks in the grout where is had separated. These were large enough to allow water to go behind the wall. That would mean that there would be a possibility of mold. This is the simple fixes that I feel need to be addressed. My group occupied 6 rooms for the days we were in town. It was a group of men so we weren't as picky. I understand the motel is under new management but it is the same owner. I know they are working on getting things back in order. Please continue to work towards the simple fixed and attention to detail. If we come back next year I would say we most likely would return to stagecoach 66. The beds were clean and the food was good. I hope they address some of the issues and continue to do some maintenance. This could be a really nice place but they have a good amount of work to get...
