This little stop at the edge of town may seem inconspicous, but personally from experience eating in seligman, its the better quality and their prices are relatively fair considering the location. The pizza is great with a lot of options, even if you enjoy more unusual combinations, and they are quick at serving it compared to some other commercial chain locations. Staff is friendly as well, especially when it comes to take your order and expendient, so you are unlikely to be ignored.
A few tiny issues, namely the lighting, tables, and the size of the cups: It is often dark, even in the Bar section. The dining area has some unreasonably small sized tables which give the impression that they can be knocked over with the slightest error in movement and spilling hot food on someone. The size of the cups, when they do have the diner open, they are incredibly tiny, even smaller than the child size cups you would receive at a fastfood joint. Another issue is being shifted into the bar, which also suffers the problem of small tables, but is not a preferable space due to other patrons being there for entirely...
Read moreEnjoyed the place and it was so worth the wait for the pie. Papa is talented and knows what he is doing. It is part dive, part kitsch, and then you get an awesome pie and cauliflower bites with fresh ingredients. I also like that there was a sweet, caring, and local vibe from the girl behind the bar and her Papa who mans the za. I hope that some younger local folks and some old-school enthusiasts will help them paint the place and fix it up to a 5-star experience because this place is special and they deserve a break from working so hard! It is part of a ranch motel that could be an "experience" place to stay if you want the old-west vibe. I have eaten incredible pizza all over the world from LA, San Fran, NY, Paris, to Mystic Pizza (you who know understand), etc. and this was just as soul-fulfilling. Try the Indian pizza for a treat. I love Indian food too and they used interesting ingredients and spices to get it right. If I lived in Santa Fe, I would...
Read moreWho knew you could get such good pizza in our little scrap of a town! Excellent food. The help was not around after we ordered, but other locals had already warned us about that. So, while waiting for our food, we ended up raiding the other tables for condiments and silverware, etc. The place is older and kinda dirty. None of the tables were wiped down. We had to look around the building for someone to wash ours. We only found the cook who said he didn't know about washing the table, that it wasn't his job. Lol. We had to convince him that it would be helpful if he could go find the woman who took our order. This, he did, and we were grateful. And she is such a doll.
The food was so good. Pizzas are really big. The calzones are huge! Very family friendly.
Having said all that, we will eat there again in a heartbeat. The atmosphere was so much like eating at home that we were absolutely...
