This is by far the best motel I ever stayed at. The room was spotlessly clean, with great attention to detail. The same is true for the little garden, decorations, and flowers they have outside. The staff couldn't be any friendlier. I called ahead to book the room and notify I would arrive late, and when I got there I found they had left me the desk light on, with a few snacks and a bottle of water; after a long driving day it felt like the warmest of welcomes. Other points: paid $59/night w/ queen bed. Check-out is 11am. Wi-Fi worked very well (password is on desk), with enough bandwidth as to watch videos on YouTube/Netflix, or FaceTime. Central A/C kept room at perfect temperature all night (even in hot August) without any mold smell. Window curtains do a good job blocking the light in the morning. There was not much noise from the road, even though is right next to it. Ceiling fan is on the side of the bed (as opposed to be right on top), so it circulates air subtly without blowing in your face. Room fridge was cold, clean, and quiet. Microwave and coffee machine were clean. Desk and chair were perfect for working with my laptop a bit before going to sleep. There's even a reclining sofa, if you feel like reading (bedside table lamp is thoughtfully placed next to it as well) or just watching TV. There are plugs for charging your phone right next to bed (and even USB plugs on the desk). I usually sleep in hard foam mattress, and I found that although the bed was soft, it was very comfortable; it didn't have any deep spots, nor felt like old spring mattresses. Some people might think the decorations and paintings on the walls are old-fashioned, but I found them particularly suited for the location, as I'm from outside the US, and this is what in my mind an authentic motel should look like.

Really an awesome motel. I was traveling with my dad and he wanted to stay here because both he and my mom would stay here, because it's halfway between my sister's house and their home--Minnesota to Colorado. It is clean and affordable. The hostess is a wonderful person. I love traveling on US routes, so I can stay at a place like this. There is a coffee maker in the room. Don't tell the hostess that I had two cups. This motel reminded of some of the finest hotels I've stayed at in Paris, Tel Aviv, along the Copacobana Beach in Rio de Janeiro, the French Riviera, or along the Riviera Maya and even Bali. This motel has a fine ambiance, which is exentiated by its decor. Please stay here. You won't be disappointed. Bring the kids...

Spotted this place while we were passing through on a geocaching road trip. With no previously set plans for accommodations and the sun quickly dipping in the west, we decided to check out this place on a whim. Friendly proprietor, cozy efficient rooms. Would absolutely stay here again. 😁

I really prefer to stay in non-chain motels when I’m on a road trip. It’s part of the experience - however these roadside gems are getting harder and harder to find in locations and conditions I feel comfortable risking. This little place was right on my route and screamed “family owned with pride”. Wonderful value for the price! Everything was clean and obviously well maintained. I was comfortable and safe for an overnight stay. ||||I would stay again in a heartbeat, but there is room for improvements. The decor, though in good condition, was dated. Not a fan of the polyester bedspread, but the eyelet trimmed sheets were nice. The sink/vanity area was nice but very low for me, hitting right about mid thigh. The spotless bathroom was TINY! It could feel a little better if the door was switched to open out into the room. Shower was above average for any hotel/motel. Great water pressure. ||||They had a very practical counter space with chair, tv, microwave and fridge. Some nice appreciated touches you only find in family owned places. ||||I was a solo traveler, so a small room wasn’t a problem. I believe they have other room options as well which might be larger. The only other thing to consider is an unusual hvac system which is located in the ceiling and set by the office. There is a chain to simply open or close the vent to allow the air or heat ( there is also a separate ceiling fan). In other words, you don’t set your own room thermostat. However, I was very comfortable all night. ||||I was grateful to have a cute, comfy place to...

Chose this place as property looks well maintained as viewed from highway when passing through town. Older motel design with parking in front of your door. Building is rectangular in shape is spread out across a city block and quite appealing from highway. Also an eye catcher out front is its large, vintage neon sign which also displays a vacancy sign to depict whether rooms are available or not on a drive by. ||I went to the office and was met by a friendly motel attendant who promptly assigned us a double room at our request. On arrival to our room, we we’re pleasantly surprised at the quaint accommodations. Room was extremely clean and everything in its place. Bathroom is much smaller than more modern motels but not a deal breaker. Provisions for making coffee & a refrigerator were in the room. Motel has great WiFi and it’s secured. A nice Mexican restaurant is located across the street and can easily be walked to for a great meal. Being in a small town, walk ability is excellent, if of any interest to you. ||This hotel is a great option for a stay in Seneca. Great value for the money that you won’t regret as your choice should you need a...
