Americas Best Value Inn Seymour — Hotel in Seymour

The staff is so rude, not friendly. Mike glared at us with a constant scowl on his face every time we saw him. Never smiled. The most unfriendly staff member I have ever seen. All of the staff should be fired and get new management. They charged me for another family member room that cost more. When my family checked out before me, staff told them they would lower her price from 4 people to 3 people price since one got sick and didn’t come. They just stuck me with the price of 4 people instead. I came out of room to go check out and get receipt. Mike across from my room scowled and said just give my cards to the other worker. I got no receipt. I called to say they overcharged me. He said it was way back. It’s been 9 days. Like talking to wall. I asked his name and demanded a manager. He would not let me speak to them. Basically said who cares they aren’t refunding anything. After he kept refusing a manager, I said a lawyer needs to deal with them. He said I can’t say those words, don’t call back or he will call police. I said do it because they are wrong for overcharging me stealing my money. He hung up on me. The most horrible workers at this place. Extremely unfriendly. If you go here, only say one person in room until you check out. Otherwise they WILL charge you for more people than what was there. DO NOT STAY HERE! only stayed here because it was close to SMORR. hotel was ok. hall was hot. laundry room smelled. when the air came on, it smelled . trying to park (towing jeep) was a chore. could not park on grass or take up more than one space. we put our do not disturb sign on the door. we put our jeep doors in the room. always do this. never had an issue at other hotels. when we got back to the room, our do not disturb sign was off and theirs was on. so we knew they came into our room. maybe they can not read. they had put towels under the jeep doors. they did not clean or give us more towels, just put towels we had under the doors. they asked us to remove the doors. we drove to the park and locked them to the trailer. we were pretty upset about them coming into our room. he stated, "we went in everyone's room." A lady reviewed this|hotel, too, said the same thing. their response was, "You must be reviewing another hotel because we can't find the reservation under your name. " Nope. THEY WILL COME IN YOUR ROOM.! I wanted to check out and stay somewhere else right then. we did not eat the breakfast. water pressure dropped the second night to almost nothing.if it says you get a microwave and fridge, you might not. believe all the bad reviews. save yourself.
