Stayed here for two nights and had a memorable vacation. We saw numerous seals from the balcony, making it picturesque.
Pros: spacious, mostly clean, accommodating, many comfortable beds, three bathrooms, a wonderful infrared sauna, well stocked kitchen, privacy, outdoor dining table, outdoor fire table, easy dock access, easy kayak use, games, art for sale, amazing surround sound, cribs, extra bedding...I feel like I could write a book about how wonderful this place is. There is a grocery store on the other side of the Canal about 15 minutes drive if you forgot something.
But there are a few cons: The speaker system in the living room did not connect to any of our four devices regardless of us following the seemingly simple directions, so we had to run music through the master bedroom (no big deal). The kitchen fan above the stove was a bit grimey, and the big trash cans were taken from the patio up to the road without us knowing, making us feel a little invaded upon. We had no idea where the trash can went but we found it. The dock is not private, and the neighboring house has free and clear access to this property as well as anyone who might be walking down the beach, so be cautious to keep things locked up.

This stay was a bit unsatisfied, but the location and views are great. The temperature was already set too high so the house had a smell of old carpet. It would be nice if they have air refresher. My aunty fell because the floor was too slippery and there was no bath mat. We’re not going to come back and not recommended. I don’t really want to complain because we got a good price compared to the original price that they posted. I would be so regret if we have to pay that full price because it’s not worth it. They charged us 77$ additional cleaning fee even though their instructions were not clear. They also want to charge 15$/dozen of oysters that we took home even though it was not included on house rules. Plus we never get oysters on the day we were there because of high tide. They treated us as thief. Asked if we take their bbq tongs that they missing. We washed and put it in the dishwasher. They should of check first before asking like people are stilling...

Our family vacationed here 5/31 – 6/2/19. The weather was perfect in the mid-70s. Overall we had a wonderful time!
The house was beautiful with all the needed amenities (BBQ grill, firepit, deck furniture, hot tub). Check-in and check-out instructions were clear and easy to follow. The house also came with watersports equipment and we did enjoy them during our stay (paddleboards, kayaks). We loved the deck along the waterfront side of the house and had 3 meals out there; sunset dinners were unbeatable! The location was great, not too far from Seattle and close to hiking trails (we did manage to go on one hike during our stay).
I have already booked a stay in December at the “Luxury Waterfront Hood Canal Vacation” (smaller house) and will be planning another family trip at the “Walls of Glass Hood Canal Vacation Rental” again next summer. Definitely a five...
