Arrived to find our King bed was bowed in the middle because the center supports underneath were broken. We alerted the front desk immediately after checking in, who assured us that someone would be up to check (this was around 5pm). We were awake until 2am and never received a call or any other communication regarding our issues. We decided to sleep on the bed due to a lack of other options and, predictably, woke up in some pain. We visited the front desk to speak to someone about the issues that morning. We had intended to stay a second night, but we were both irritated and sore and had no desire to continue our stay. We explained this to the concierge at the desk (not the manager), who was sympathetic and offered a partial refund for our troubles (about half the total cost, total cost being $258). We didn’t feel that was fair, so we requested an entire refund minus taxes and resort fees. The concierge told us that was up to the manager, and texted the manager while we were waiting. She informed us that, for now, she had been authorized to give the partial refund, and the manager would be calling to discuss the remaining portion with us. It seemed to be indicated that there was no problem processing the full refund, the concierge just didn’t have the credentials to do it herself. No worries, we thought, we can wait for her call. After a week, we hadn’t heard anything. So we called back, and were informed the manager isn’t in. We left our information and were told we’d get a call back as soon as possible. After repeating this irksome process 10+ times, we’re (understandably, I think) pretty fed up. It seems they assume that if they continue to ignore us, we will eventually let it go. Unfortunately for them, we’re very patient people. We stayed in February—I am finally writing this review because I called again today to speak to the manager (not in, of course). When I asked when she’d be back, the employee (same concierge who helped us initially) said “I don’t know.” I asked when would be a good time for me to call back to reach her, and the reply I got was again “I don’t know,” and then “what is this regarding?” When I explained politely that we’ve been trying to reach her boss for 3 MONTHS regarding a refund we had spoken to her, the concierge, about, she hung up on me. This was pretty frustrating so I had my partner call back. The ONLY thing he said to her when she answered was “hello, is there a manager on staff today?” And she rudely said “No, are you the person that called earlier?” (Not sure how she could have made that conclusion considering my partner and I are different genders and, as such, have extremely different voices) My partner answered that he wasn’t the person who had called earlier, and asked if there was a better time to call to reach management, or if there was perhaps an email or a direct phone number. The girl told us there wasn’t an email, nor a phone number besides the one we had already called, and that the manager MIGHT be in sometime tomorrow. Our next steps will be disputing the entire charge with our bank, contacting the Better Business Bureau, and exploring legal options. It’s not even about the money anymore—we gave them so many opportunities to fix their mistakes and they’re being blatantly disrespectful at this point by gatekeeping contact with the manager, hanging up on us, and outright ignoring us.

TL;DR: Not worth the headache, backache, and whatever other irritations this came with. Not only was the place subpar, it is terribly managed....

Clean and spacious rooms with private balconies and hood Canal view. They are well maintained. Most rooms have a kitchenette with good sized fridge and microwave. However our stay this week was disappointing; no dishes or cutlery were provided in this kitchenette, although dish soap was? Also no additional TP was staged or found anywhere in the room. Hot water is abundant once run long enough. Breakfast from community room is no longer available.. that room is behind keypad now. This property includes many RV pads with power/water hook ups ( didn't see grey water discharge). Also cabins are offered. We are not sure why Resort is part of the business name as there is no pool, tub, gazebo, etc to suggest a resort. Besch access is improved with pebble beach. Watching otters, seals, fish and eagles is the thrill of this place. We spent 2 nights this week here. Beach access can be slippery surfaces at low tide; be cautious. Beds where acceptable but not plush. Rather medium hardness and somewhat squeaky. My wife took pillows from the other bed to get comfortable. Lots of green lights in room due to electronics and car tire noise at any hour due to being direct on US101. One can direct book on their website, but I found Booking.com with incentives cheaper. Free parking with permission Tag. Tides Family restaurant on 101 is a great breakfast restaurant..and was recommended by staff. WiFi worked fine, didn't try the TV. Walking uS 101 is rather dangerous..best have a vehicle to stay here. No shops walking...

Where do i start...this place sucks. I dont understand the reviews. It's dirty. Photos dont do it justice. Whomever is responsible for cleaning these "cabins" is lazy. Cobwebs EVERYWHERE. Dust on the baseboards, dust on ceiling fan, dust on the blinds, dishes aren't that clean, food spots on the couch. Random hair ties on the floor. Blood stain and some pink product on the comforter. Other people's hair all over the walls and trim in the bathroom. There's a hole in the couch, wires coming from the ceiling running down to the floor that don't have a purpose. Random holes in the walls, baseboards falling off, the chair at the table is broken, cover to the water heater isn't secured properly and falling off the wall. Broken blinds. And the oven must have a busted thermostat. Runs wayyyy hotter than your set temperature. Something needs to be cooked at 425 for 10 minutes? DONT. You'll burn tf out of it. It's like the oven and burners have 1 setting. High. Also, it sounds like you're sleeping in the road as cars scream by. Way too loud. The obvious selling point is the view... which you can get anywhere else up and down this road. Luckily, I was with people who could make the best of a meh situation. However, we won't be coming back here. I couldn't wait to get...

The view was great until they parked an RV in front of us. No air conditioning and it was hot so we left the door open and it was extremely noisy with cars and trucks going by all day as you're right off the road. Even with the door closed it was very noisy. Then one day, the mower and trimming was going for 3-4 hours and we couldn't close the windows or sliding glass door because of the heat. There's no carpet to help absorb the noise. The room was exceptionally clean except for the floor. I could see feet and toe marks left on the floor. I went barefoot in the room and my feet were black. We went for the view and rest and we definitely didn't get rest. We were there for three nights. The staff was great. The location is great. You're only 10-15 minutes from Shelton so there's lots of places to eat besides Hoodsport. The casino is there also with excellent food. Too bad they didn't have carpet to absorb the noise and air conditioning so you could close the doors and no huge RVs that block the view. Wish the balcony was open also instead of enclosed. The clubhouse looks great. We probably won't go back?

The RV park is small, well maintained, right on the water, and the site we had included full hookups. I absolutely agree with other reviews that the road noise is significant and that site #14 is only appropriate for a smaller RV. We were able to back into #14 with a 20' trailer, I cannot imagine doing it with anything larger. It seemed that several of the concrete pads were not level, we noticed an RV with both of its front tires off the ground after being leveled. We enjoyed kayaking but found strong and irregular currents in front of the PUD building. We didn't notice any real beach, but maybe the tides were off while we were there. We were able to launch kayaks from the bottom of some rock steps. It's a great spot, really well kept and we will be back!
