High Cliff Beach — Hotel in Sherwood

The beach area is very small and down a steep hill. There were a few picnic tables but not many near the beach. Although it's a lovely park with trails and lots to offer the swim beach was very unexciting. Go for other reason. We watched quite a few families look at the beach and leave with disappointed kids. There were quite a few watercraft in the lake near the swim area creating wake that made the few people who were trying to enjoy the water hang on to floaties and tubes for dear life. We'll be back to High Cliff but...

We had a great time here, with calm water and few people on Monday. Bathroom was clean. It was a long walk down to the beach from the parking lot. I didn’t give it 5 stars since there were tons of sticks washed up, and in the shallow water. Also, There’s barely any sand, if you’re into...

Nice beach with some picnic tables. Cool to watch all the wind surfers and such playing out in front. They have a playground but it's closed right now. They do have showers and bathrooms on site. The beach has a lot of little rocks and shells so be careful...
