Bradford, I hope you have heard by now from your managers (Billy, Christina) and from my cousin, Susan Ericksen that we very unhappy and disappointed with how you have handled our families arrival to your accommodations on December 26th, 2017.
Why did you tell your managers that we were not arriving until December 27th? I’ve had a contract with you since August and it was very clear when we were to arrive. I want to be compensated for one complete day for all the stress that you have caused me and my family in south unit. I’m going to send you photos of all the problems that we have gone through in our south unit because of you and your poor management. It has been such a disappointment to me.
If you don’t make this right for my family and I then I will write terrible reviews about our arrival and how bad our experience has been with you and how you have not managed our reservations very well.
Cheryl Ericksen —————————- Bradford, If you don’t compensate us we will be forced to take legal actions for compensation of the following.
By the way, the dishwasher you are mentioning was for Sue’s unit not ours. I’m in unit #231.
You have over promised and under delivered! You told me that I would not be disappointed when I questioned you back in August 2017 about the online reviews that we read.
I want to be compensated for one nights stay. I do not accept your offer for a 2 night future credit. These are the reasons why.
You had the check-in date wrong and our house was not ready for us. Managers were living in our space, none of the downstairs beds on first and second floor were made up yet. Drive way was not plowed and two cars got stuck and were towed. I got my truck stuck in the driveway. Walkways where icing and not treated for slipping. I slipped and fell on the wooden walkway to Sue’s unit. Ice was on steps to house. Dresser in Master bedroom was not secured to wall. It fell over on me and hit the night stand and drawers fell in on me. Kitchen floor and grout is filthy. Kitchen cabinets dusty, dirty and no evidence of being cleaned in months. We had to clean every dish, pan, pot and silverware before using. All cookie sheets were dirty.. Dust on top of refrigerator and on all lamps. Dirt and grim in all corners, heater vents, and on wood molding. No toaster, no hot pads, Refrigerator ice maker and water maker is not hooked up. No plug in the sink in the room that the managers live in. I had to contact the managers several times to ask for basic things. I also had to ask them where you keep clean sheets for all the couches that fold out. When I opened up the hide-a-beds, on one, there was not a mattresses to sleep on, and the other one was broken and unable to use. The house felt very dirty. We had to clean and sanitized the kitchen before using it.
Cheryl, ——————— After traveling 12+ hours to get to Colorado, the lodge was not even remotely ready. In addition, it was clear that this lodge had not been cleaned in several months. To give an example, my glasses had dropped between a bed and the wall/heater in the basement bedroom of the South Lodge at Summit Peaks and my hand met dust mites, cobwebs, multiple candy wrappers, and food crumbs. There were holes and dents in the walls, which did not affect my stay at all but did not reflect the condition of the rental property the owner had promised and, not-so-kindly, insisted on. I would not stay at this rental again nor any other property owned by Bradford. Samantha Ericksen ————————— There Is not a low enough rating for our family experience. We booked the north and south lodges august 2017 for a week long ski vacation December 26 th to January 2nd. I should have known this was a bad idea when the only reviews on any Web sides were back from 2013.When we arrived the property managers were living in the South lodge and completely unaware that our contract rental date had Begun. So in an instant the property managers had to move out ,change beds , and try to clean up some of the 2...
Read moreThe lodge is fantastic, and the owner is great to work with. It is very easy to get to from Denver. We had family from all over the country fly in and meet us there. The North lodge had more than everything we needed for 11 people to be very comfortable and the 360 views of mountains are breathtaking. We woke up every morning and had coffee to the view out the front porch, and drinks watching the sunset off the side and back porches in the evening.
We spent a day in Breckenridge walking around where we ate and walked around the river walks while people in our group shopped. There are many great restaurants in Frisco, Breckenridge, and Sivlerthorne all of which are in close proximity to each other.
There are many outdoor adventure companies in the area to choose from for mountain biking (Rebel Sports), zip lining, rafting (AVA), and off road adventures. The next day some of us rented kayaks and went on the lake while the rest of us rented bikes and took the kids on the very scenic downhill ride from Vail pass through Copper back to Frisco. I’d highly recommend the bikes and make sure you stop at the rock patio if you do this ride, very cool story behind it and fun to experience! We took a morning and went whitewater rafting down the Blue which was mostly class 3 whitewater at the time, perfect for kids. We spent some time hiking one of the trails right by the lodge. It’s only a 3 minute drive to the trailhead. Great trail, kids had a blast.
We then spent the remaining days running the off road trails and exploring all of the old mining country and the history of the area, and evenings in the hot tub and grilling out on the back deck. We also hit a few of the Silverthorne restaurants for breakfast (White Lion) and pizza (Windy City Pizza, Nick n’ Willy’s). Very good.
The kids had so much fun exploring the area that their personal electronics got a rest for most of the week. It was a fantastic week to get together as a family and there just wasn’t enough days to do all of the activities there are to do in the area. We plan on going back...
Read moreEpic location. Ideal for skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer, Summit Peaks Lodge is located on Buffalo mountain in Silverthorne only minutes away from half a dozen ski resorts and thousands of hiking trails. I have been coming here for years and will continue to come because I love the location. The price you pay for having the option to go to Keystone, A-Basin, Copper, Vail, Beaver Creek or Breckenridge is unrivaled. Best place to stay in...
