Visited here Monday 7/20/2020 to use the vaulted toilet after our hike, no toilet paper. Lots of bugs in the bathroom, but wasn't overly smelly like they sometimes can be. Road into this campground is very rocky. Would recommend for vehicles with more high clearance. Sites looked nice with lake access as well as trail access. Campground was open. No cell reception here.

Absolutely beautiful. It's very quiet. No running water, so you'll need to bring or filter your own. We staged here before heading out into Sisters Wilderness. In the morning we woke up to a Bald Eagle on the tree in our campsite. Drove my Honda Odyssey in on the road with no problems.

Awesome spot with several car camping spots along the lake. No cell service or running water.

Lovely campground on a glacial lake with Tam Macarthur Rim overlooking the space. ~20 spaces for camping, and a general store (closed Mon-Wed) open for small necessities from Thurs - Sun. It's a lovely hike up to Three Meadows site from here, or up to Golden Lake site (marked by cairn on left side of trail). The site is on the edge of the burn site of a 2012 forest fire, so the first 2-3 miles out of Driftwood heading N-NE is not very pleasant due to the fallen and burned trees everywhere, but it gives way near Three Meadows to unburnt forest and...

All the camp sites were up the hill, from the lake. The sandy shore line was packed. Rental Boats were not available, & the store was closed. The road to the store was over welmed with hikers cars, so was the gravel road coming into the Lake a half mile b4. Camp Host was no ware to be seen. A young teen who said her father was camp host was flerting with a Adult Bisness owner from Bend. She said she was 14, and he said he was 23, exchanged numbers because she goes to school in Bend. So it's not a lake to leave your...
