I suspect the parents have somewhat retired or are otherwise unable to perform some of the maintenance and upkeep of the park. The children come by when they are able. I say this because there was a backlog of payment envelopes suggesting that the people who live there aren't collecting the money which is the easiest "maintenance" to do.

That said while the porch has begun to crumble, the grass was mowed, trash emptied, and toilet paper was in the bathroom, a high-quality paper at that. The shower did have cold water. I suspect it's an instant hot which requires a fairly heavy flow of water which wasn't capable through the low flow shower head. It's a low flow shower head because the shower curtain is suspended loosely from the ceiling and there isn't a sufficient floor lip to keep the shower water from spraying onto the floor. There was a wet towel on the floor to attempt some water retention. To get hot water I turned on the sink which triggered the hot water to work in the shower. If you turned back the water in the shower because it was too hot it'd shut off completely, so you'd have to again turn on the sink water or leave the sink running to get the right temperature. There was a black tape mark suggesting where the hot water needs to be turned to; which basically was full hot.

Wi-fi was strong warranting a star. It's not as bad as some reviewers have made it to be, but there are...

Our favorite place to hang out with our camper! Last year was our first camping with a camper; we bought a used 5th wheel bunkhouse. Our first trip was a two night stay in late April in Snowville at the Earp And James Hitching Post and our last trip was at the Hitching post in mid October. We found the property clean and well kept and the sites marked and well configured. The self check-in was a piece of cake, or pie and if pie is your thing you'll want to visit Mollies in town. We had zero issues with the electric and water, but you will probably want a water pressure regulator. Our sewer dump is to the rear, so we had to pull forward to dump prior to leaving. Should you want to connect your sewer for your entire stay you might want to pull further forward before unhitching if you are staying in a pull through site. You can hear the tires hum on I-84 we found it pleasant as we nodded off to sleep. There's room for our kids to run off some energy and "visit" the horses pasturing across the fence. Our dogs enjoyed the stay as well just keep them on a leash and do your part picking up their treasures. We didn't use the showers, or restrooms so I can't comment on them. Snowville, Utah may not be considered a destination city, however; if you need a place to hang your hat as you are passing by, or you just want to get away the Earp And James Hitching Post is a pleasant place to...

The experience here was terrible. I called to make a reservation and in doing so the recording tells you to send a text to the number. I do with all my info about my RV. I even tell them the time I will be there. Three hours later in the afternoon I arrived. There hours say we are open till 8 no one is there no note on door where to go. There is an emergency number that does not work. The phone number i called still says same thing and does not respond to future text I sent. There was a RV there when I got there and over the next hour with a sign in front of use that pretty much tells us no trespassing unless we are registered two more RVs pull up behind us. Been waiting in 90° temperatures in the sun over an hour can't reach anyone and know one responds the text Ray and Gwen finally pull up on a four wheeler/razor. The first thing they say is why didn't you call me?? No apology, just we were eating! I finally confirm with them my reservation for 50amp service and pay for 50amp service. Gwen sends me to a spot and I start setting up, guess what its 30amp service. Then I am treated like it was my fault that I am in a 30amp service. No apology again. All I needed was some power to run ac and sleep. Got out as soon as I could next morning. Also restroom/bathhouse is a one person so plan on taking a number. Even toilet was backed up when...

We stayed at this campground for one night. We paid $40.33. The campground was quiet and seemed well kept. The office is cute but there was no one there when we arrived. They do have a sign on how to self-register and pay using a drop box. We had been sent an email with our site number but when we arrived there was a boat parked in our site. We just chose another site. The hookups on our side of the campground were all in the front of the site - we could not connect our sewer hose without our camper hanging out into the road. We had to wait until morning to pull forward and dump. They have a dog park area but it is not fenced in. (June 2024) Update: Based on the reply, we must have been given a site on the wrong side of the campground by mistake. Our original site was 43 and we just chose a site a few down from there. I believe they all had the same set up with the hookups in the front of the site.
