We have stayed here a few times. My husband and I are truck drivers. We are from Michigan. When the load boards bring us this way and we have an overnight stay this is the place we choose. The front desk staff has always been accommodating, the water is always hot, there’s always clean towels and staff actually speak to you when you speak to them. We have been at this location for the last three days due to a truck breakdown which needed to go to the local dealership for repair. Upon arrival, we were met with a very nice smiling face and his name was Bernie. He was being trained and explained to us that he was still learning. While they were looking for our reservations we were able to make small talk and he was super kind. So was the young lady that was training him unfortunately I did not get her name. We were able to see him the next morning because he was assisting in the breakfast nook. He greeted each guest with a smile was very pleasant and made you feel like you mattered. It’s always nice when you’re in an establishment and you’re spending the amount of money that you spend for the rooms to be met with smiling faces that are truly trying to be hospitable and kind…..that’s the energy Bernie gave to the guests while we watched him interact with guests during breakfast!! Bernie has quickly become our favorite person here….we will look for him next time we are here! The only critique that I have is that it would be nice for the amount of money that we spend for the rooms that the outside appearance of the facility matched. Having been here because of a mechanical breakdown I’ve taken several walks around the facility and I’m saddened to see the disarray outside. The dumpster area needs a tremendous amount of attention, there’s trash in the bushes, aluminum cans in the bushes and trash and papers just laying around. I can’t imagine that it would take too much time to clean up the trash daily. With that being said, giving grace because of possible staff shortages at least try to clean up outside a couple times a week. I’m sure if the owner walked around outside and toured the entire facility he would see what the patrons see. The only other critique that I have is the vending machines are empty. It would be nice to be able to purchase a cold beverage from the machines. The staff seem to work hard and if they haven’t been rewarded lately, maybe they should be.

Just came down for the breakfast. Breakfast Room is extremely small with just few tables which means if you want to have your breakfast, you need to eat in your room. Coffee is like colored water. Told the attendant and was told "that's the way the coffee is" ( i took the pic of the coffee and the guy just replaced the thermos). Unbelievably because for what they charge ( 140 a room with cancellation till very last day) thud us just unacceptable. And this place is not like we are in NY or Rome for offering this type of service at this price. Nor I could say the view was fantastic Very disappointed. I also reported, yesterday and today, that our room does not come equipped with a phone. I never been to an hotel without a phone in the room

Good news, bad news. "What is bad? you say". My semi truck broke down and I am stuck in a hotel. "The good news?" I am at the nicest Best Western in the country, the staff is great and attentive to their guests. The rooms are well appointed and clean. And quiet, nice and quiet. There breakfast bar is complete with sausage and eggs, biscuits and gravy, toast, bagels and yogurt and oatmeal. The coffee is made fresh, regular or decaf, your choice. And a juicer with orange, apple and cranberry juices. A couple of nice restaurants within walking distance and a Pilot Express with convenience items and a Lil' Caesars pizza inside. If you are in need of a safe, clean place to stay, this is a good safe place.

As most of my reviews start, we have truck issues, soo we had to find a place to stay for a couple nights.. Soo on to the review... upon checking in, the young lady working the desk, Cecelia I want to say her name is... Saturday about 2pm. Cecelia us extremely friendly, very helpful..she gave us a small tour of the breakfast area, the laundry where we could wash clothes.. she told us about the weight room as well as a covered pool outback AND a great dinner suggestion. This young lady us definitely an asset to this property. On to the room... do you like line dancing with 15 close friends? I hope so.. the room is THAT big! It is immense, if there were walls installed it could easily be a 2-3 room suite.. 2 very nice queen size beds, a big deal/ work station, microwave, fridge, modern bathroom with a shower curtain that doesn't attack you when you get the showing going. Let me jump forward then I will come back.... our shower was draining a bit slow, so I went to the front desk and who was working? My friend Cecelia again! I told her about the shower/ tub draining... she apologized and asked if I could wait about 10minutes before she could get someone up there.. sure.. what's 10 minutes... 5 minutes letter.. knock at the door... Cecelia the front desk girl that is mentioned above came and fixed the issue herself!. I didn't expect her to do it, but rhis is just another example of the customer service this young lady and this property provide.. Amazing. Breakfast, small but very nice options... eggs, sausage , gravy, biscuits, cold cereal, instant oatmeal, an assortment of pastries and muffins as well as the waffle maker machine. Everything was hot, well taken care of..tables clean.. very nicely done. I have stayed in El Paso before at other venues that were also nice, rhis Best Western is a little east of El Paso.. but if we are here again.. this will be our go to place.. the attention and personal touches Cecelia provided made a HUGE difference. Thank you again Cecelia, this was a fantastic stay.

Oh also, I talked to the manager.. really nice dude with a beard... every bit as nice, helpful and greatful as Cecelia.. You will take my money...

I have stayed here the past three weeks (Mon-Thurs) but have since moved Hotels. There was not hot water the first couple of days; which the hotel informed me after I made a call to the front desk that the boiler was broken and they were installing a new heater (you would think that they'd let each room know about the lack of hot water instead of having to ask them and you would also think they'd issue a refund for the days without; didn't happen). After installation of the new boiler, the water is now lukewarm; not shower temperature (however the sink can achieve scolding hot temperatures). I have stayed in four didn't rooms now and each shower is lukewarm (it's possible they are still trying to figure out the heater, but after three weeks it's hard to believe). As for the room itself, the furniture is newer, the AC works great, there aren't bad odors, however, the bed and pillows are not very comfortable; the pillows themselves are half the size of a standard pillow.

These matters could have been remedied, however the final straw for me was the inattentiveness and lack of professionalism from the staff. I attempted to speak to the night desk employee about the water which turned into an argument and with him indicating that the water was hot and that I was apparently "lying". He then walked around the desk to the lobby bathroom, turned the sink on and said "the water is hot so you just need to let yours run longer". I explained to him that I tested the water and even let it run for 10 minutes to mo avail; he then got on his phone while talking to me and walked away. The next day spoke to a manager about the water temperature and he would not have a conversation with me but rather simply interrupted me and exclaimed it will be repaired.

In summary, the hotel itself is actually quite nice; especially for the rate. But I cannot stay somewhere without hot water and with hotel employees that lack professionalism and whom seem to genuinely not care about their guests comments and concerns. I have since found a hotel to the West that is far more...
