update i saw the reply, and the manager was sitting next to his employees when all this was happening. He saw it all and did nothing. The reply to this review sounds great, but the manager obviously doesnt have a problem lying to look good on these reviews. The manager never even washed his hands between eating and going behind the bar and into the kitchen even though he passed a sink multiple times. Try leading by example.

I used to love coming here, but it seems the last few months the food hasn't been as good. When I ordered a margarita I wasn't advised that it is only frozen upon request, so when I asked our server destiny about it she gave attitude about making it frozen and then didn't even take it to get remade. I had to ask twice for nearly everything this visit. We were waiting at out table for ten minutes as she was eating behind the bar, forgetting about our waters and the frozen margarita. I understand that they may need to eat whenever they get the chance, but at least wash your hands before coming back to work. I didn't see either of the waitresses wash their hands once during my hour there, and they went back and forth between work and their food. I couldn't even eat half of my fries because she had touched my plate with those same dirty hands. When I finally got my frozen margarita there were these red specks all throughout it. When I let Destiny know she decided to justify the specs, saying they came from the other cup when it touched another drink. It doesn't matter. There's stuff in my drink that's not supposed to be there. And then she still tried to charge me for it, and I had returned it nearly full.

Extremely greasy tacos, tortillas ripped from grease....only one thin corn tortilla per taco. They said they were sirloin, I could not tell, as the meat was diced into tiny prices, and cooked to a pebble consistency. Could have used a toothpick. Large portion of dry yet greasy meat, so ended up with enough to eat at least. No onion, no cilantro, no pico de gallo. Rice and beans were good. They sent the wrong order out for my partner, so we got our food at different times. They put lettuce on top of canned hot nacho cheese, no real cheese used at all (was hoping for at least some authentic Mexican cheese), not even a sprinkle of cheddar. The lettuce of course was wilted, which would have was been the only fresh aspect, besides a very small serving of avocado. Salsa was extremely mild, and they only offered me Tabasco when prompted for something with more spice....not authentic Mexican food, in my opinion. Perhaps I am spoiled by the Mexican food I grew up eating in California. A very whitewashed menu. Slow service. Beer was the best part, but they did not honor the happy hour price. Was traveling through, but would not go back were we to travel through again. Was hoping a hole in the wall like this that called itself authentic was actually telling the truth, they are not. The service was very slow, and not very genial. Expected us to order thirty seconds after seeing the menu, and then when we asked for a bit more time, they ignored us for twenty minutes. First of all the 🌶 Chilli suace was really good, but when I wanted a refill I couldn't find my server Jeannett, later I saw her fiddling with a bouquet of roses, when I finally got her attention she came over and we asked for a Chilli and tostadas refill, she said she will get it right away, 5 minutes later I see her fiddling with the roses ones again, and my Chilli was no where to be seen, so a young man passes by my table with a bowl of Chilli suase chips, And I told my wife I BET!!
