Ever been to hell? Well, Somerset Amphitheater is as close as you're going to get to it! If I could give negative stars to this venue I would. I spent a good sum of money to have seats close to the stage for my wife's birthday. There was a storm, which is beyond anyone's control. But what happened afterwards was utter chaos, this venue is lucky no one was seriously injured or brought in a weapon. There was a LARGE gathering of people pushing their way into the venue while the band has already started playing before anyone was let back in (see photo). People were booking it into the venue pushing past security, at which point they had already given up. People who bought lawn seats were stealing seats from those that were already paid. Security wasn't doing anything about this. One security guard was letting fans from the lawn into the pit. On top of this, they built a music venue in the middle of nowhere and it still has a noise ordinance curfew. There is only a one way dirt road getting in and out so don't expect to leave any time soon after the show. I saw people jump the fence throughout the day. Again, my advice if you ever go here, if you're going to buy a ticket, just buy a lawn one so you can just jump the flimsy fencing into the pit or steal someone else's seat like they did mine. In fact you probably don't even need to buy tickets since you can just jump the fence here with ease! Oh and don't bother trying to contact them, Live Nation uses false shell accounts to hide contacting the real owners. Not that contacting the real owners will help because they'll shove you off back to the hell of Live Nation service purgatory. They'll give you a code for an amount of money to use on future events, except surprise! It won't work on anything. Thisnthe scummiest venue I've ever been to, avoid it at all costs. This venue should have cancelled the show and rescheduled it, but they were so concerned with their bottom line that they let the main band play for half the time while still enacting a sound ordinance. -100/5 stars.

Before our show, I searched everywhere for helpful, relevant info and came up short—so now that it’s over, I wanted to share what I wish I had known. First and foremost: if you’re a super short girlie, skip the seated sections. Go for pit or lawn. I debated this for a long time since I’ve been to way too many shows where I couldn’t see a thing. At this one, my view standing from anywhere in the seats section was completely blocked (I’m 5 feet tall). We tried moving around a bit, which helped for a while, until someone several rows ahead stood on her chair, and that was the end of me seeing anything at all. The lawn actually had a much better view and felt way more flexible; we were able to shift around until we found a good spot. In the seated section, staff (doing their job, respectfully) asked us to return to our assigned seats, so it was much less forgiving. Second: parking. I was so stressed from everything I’d read online. But honestly? If you’ve ever been to a stadium show in a major city, this was a breeze by comparison. Traffic and parking were not nearly as bad as people made them sound—genuinely a non-issue. The real standout? The staff and security. They were everywhere—in the best way. I’ve never seen a team so present, helpful, and genuinely friendly. Security was attentive without being overbearing, and staff clearly had everything under control. I felt completely safe and supported the whole time. And Halsey? Absolutely incredible. I’m so glad I didn’t let my worries keep me from going. I’ll definitely be back—with lawn seats next time.

This is truly a 3.5, we just attended the fallout boy concert last week and had an amazing time, great vendors, great music, good food and more! The reason they don't get a 5 is putting lives in danger. At unfortunately had some pretty heavy storms roll though and the theater was evacuated. They asked people to please return to their cars and seek shelter. However if you used an ride share apps, or got dropped off you were F***Ed. They would not allow you under tents, in the beer garden to seek shelter or give any direction to those that didn't have anywhere to shelter. So we all stood outside huddled together using blankets, tshirts, and anything we had for cover from the rain while staff stood, watched and took videos of us who had NO WHERE TO GO. 100s of people huddled in the bathroom and most were stranded outside. They allowed fallout boy on after the storms passed but it was frustrating to say the least that us with no where to go were being laughed at, video taped and mocked by the staff.

I can no longer stand for long periods of time so pit is not an option for me these days. Unfortunately if you can’t handle pit and want to be closer than the lawn (which considering how small the screens are at this venue you probably do) then I would not go back to this venue. The seats are awful.

To start there is no slant which means if you are short and not in the first few rows you won’t be able to see a thing. I discovered there was no incline to the seats so a few days before my show I upgrade to second row of the seated section. Once we arrived it became clear that pit was so wide that your only options for seats were obstructed side views or sitting behind pit (which remember there’s no slant so you’ll be struggling to see over all the people in pit.) The girls in the middle most front row seats (so the literal best seats available) ended up buying themselves pit passes because the view was so bad. My friend and I were considering moving to lawn as we thought the view might be better from lawn but when the screens are so small we decided we were better off where we were at. Since the girls in front of us left, we moved up a row, and despite being in the best seats in the house we had to watch the entire show on the screen because the equipment boxes completely blocked our view. I could only catch occasional glimpses of Halsey. The few times I did have a view of her, there seemed to always been a staff or security standing right in my line of view.

The one saving grace is the staff were very nice and doing their best. We were laughing and joking with some of the staff while we waited and they were super on the ball whenever a medical emergency happened (unfortunately the one exit for medical emergencies was directly in front of me so everytime someone passed out the show was also interrupted for all of us as we had to move out of the way and stand in the aisle for a few minutes but that’s not really the staffs fault.) The staff did seem to have zero idea how to direct people to their seats (I had a map of the venue and so I ended up directing a lot of people who were lost.)

Overall I’ll never return to this venue. But if you like pit or just want a chill night on the lawn, it actually wasn’t a terrible venue. Parking was hell but the actual layout of vendors and food and stuff was nice and staff were nice. But since I’m a seated spot kind of gal this venue will never be a good fit for me.

Also don’t bother with a fast pass. We bought two just because I don’t like standing in line and we stood in the fast pass line and no one even once checked that we had a fast pass. They just honor systemed that shit I guess. Also premiere parking didn’t help us get out any faster. Leaving post show was a nightmare and if anything we may have gotten out quicker if we had been in normal parking. Took over an hour for us to leave the parking lot and even longer to make it out of town and onto the interstate.

Halsey did great but I think a video recording of the concert in my bedroom would’ve given me the same experience for a lot less money. If artists start dropping tour movies more frequently I’d happily buy a dvd of a tour and never go back to a concert again. Live music is a nightmare these days and not worth the money if I’m just going to watch it on a screen the whole...

DO NOT BUY SEATS X1 X2. Halsey was a great preformer as always. No worries there my problem was with the venue. First we arrive to our tickets not working after scanning it were told our tickets might have been upgraded but i dont know how that would of been possible because i told them we were the first two seats of the first row behind the pit. For those tickets we paid over $1000 for 2 tickets that was the PRESALE price. With no premium parking nothing special, kinda ridiculous. Once in we had no problem getting to our seats. This is where the experience really started falling apart. Where our two seat were, the pit entrance was 10 feet infront of us. Which ment when people wanted to get in there they had to scan there phone and then get a wrist band to get in. Instead of getting a wristband apon arrive. So there was a constant pile of 5 to 10 people on and off 1/2 the way through the main show. Now for the openners well we couldnt see them at all because of this line of people. Mind you to the left they could of moved it to the corner of the pit not in direct sight of the stage. So not only sight was blocked by people waiting to get in to the pit and them constantly running low on wrist bands was a complete distraction most the show. Then when halsey came on very first song my wife and i couldnt see at all so i told to go around to get a better view but she was told to move away from where she was standing. Mind you that we are the first two seats in the walk way. Well after 3 or 4 songs in loads of girls started coming from no where and blocking the walk way even though the entire walk way has 2 six inch yellow lines marking the sectiongs. These girls were not from out row or the rows behind us. We were getting pushed away from our seated area and on top of each other. Finally half way through the show the ushers got half the crowd of girls gone there still remained 10-15 but then security would walk through and make a foot or two path which did nothing because they were over the walk way line still. Also if you are on the concrete pad up front it is not slopped so you might as well buy pit or sit in the grass. Icing on the cake the usher that was giving wrist bands was over 6ft tall and where they made him stand was in direct sight line to the center stage. With the concrete pad not being sloped and the stage not higher i caught myself looking at the side screens for the people in the back. HALSEY was amazing it wasnt our first time to her but our experience was killed by this. We know amphitheater. We last saw her on her last tour in milwaukee amphitheater which has slope all the way up, same as redrocks but as big. They have some work to do. My photos will not sync will try...

Myself and friend went to the Fall Out Boy show that was held here on 7/13/23 and got hit with a heavy storm delay. This is something completely out of control of the venue and I understand that fully.

However what is not out of control of the venue is their approach/response to the situation. This aspect was extremely poor and has unfortunately soured my opinion of the venue.

At around 9pm we were told to "Evacuate the premises" and shelter in place in our vehicles. We were also told to follow their social media pages for updates on the situation.

However the storm hit within 2 minutes of this announcement and myself and nearly all other attendees got absolutely drenched with rain while lightning was striking frequently. It was also very dark with minimal lighting so heading back to our cars was also very difficult.

We were able to make it to our vehicle and tried to check their social media but the service was minimal (both my friend and I have Verizon). Pages would take forever to load and it felt there was no way to follow any updates. Again something a bit out of control for the venue however I know they have my phone number as I got a phone call the day prior to the concert on how to enter, what time gates open, and where to park. A mass text blast would have likely been a much better option to keep people updated.

There was an update 45 minutes after we were told to shelter in place that just simply said they were "monitoring the situation" and to look for more updates. The National Weather Service on the radio was broadcasting a weather alert nonstop, so with the information (or lack there of) that we had we made the difficult decision to drive back home as we can from out of state.

When we finally got home to check their social media pages there was another update at 10:20pm (so close to 1.5 hours later) that the show would go back on and you can return to the venue. So basically two updates from the time we were told to evacuate the premises when there was a severe thunderstorm happening.

It felt extremely disorganized and no one seemed to know what was going on. The venue itself seemed fine and the sound was decent for what we heard, so it's incredibly disappointing there management during this time was so poor. And that doesn't event factor in the price of the tickets and if there will be a refund or not.

Even if I were to receive a full refund for the tickets, my experience has still completely soured my opinion of the venue.

I will say that I only recommend this venue if you know 100% that the...
