This place is great. Cumfy beds. Big screen tv.....and plenty of satellite dish channels. Also, the woman and man that run the place are the kindest and most fair, and extremely honest.they don't speak good English but are clearly very religious and respectful of American lifestyle. (Unlike the oakland inn. )this place is fair and well priced and never over charge. Conveniently located near a pilot fuel stop. Also.... the staff I met today are of the finest tennesse folk. I witnessed a man fall out of an 18 wheeler....whom was knocked unconscious. The cleaning lady quickly snapped into action and performed CPR on the man and was able to revive him. While the hotel maintenance man jumped into the big rig and hit the breaks. Stopping a major catastrophe...as the rig was rolling towards the pilot gas pumps and a wheelchaired man trying to get out of the of certain death. The staff appear to be qualified EMS personnel. And I would recommend this hotel to any with underlining health conditions. Veterans are treated like noblemen as they deserve. Cool ice machines free on hand. I also hear that 5%of every dollar earned goes to the save the whales foundation. BTW....THESE PEOPLE ARE ALSO HUGE TRUMP SUPORTERS!!!!the deer field inn is doing their part and liveing proof that PRESIDENTtrump has lived up to his words....to make America great again. THANK YOU DEER FIELD INN. MY FAMILY LOVES YOU.(UNLIKE THE...
Read moreTwo men were very rude. The woman was nice. The 1st guy didn't even want to open the door when I asked about a room. He had it locked I'm guessing because the power was out. I asked price & his response was " no power, maybe later" & walks off. I got back in my semi to wait & about an 45min later a 2nd guy bangs on my door & as soon as I roll down my window he starts yelling. "You can't park here leave! Not a parking lot, leave now!" I told him to calm down & that I guess I'll just go get avroom elsewhere. "Oh, you want room? Ok ok, go inside. No problem, leave truck here." The lady at the desk was very nice. The 1st guy was there as well & got annoyed because he had to get me change for 100. That should've been a red flag.( Room is 49 & you have to find change for 100. Must not be busy) The room looked good at first. Toilet didnt flush well though. Sink didn't work at all & found what looked be a bullet hole through the picture on the wall. A new pic had been p lmao aced in frame, but the hole in glass & the shards were also still framed, lol. I tried to look behind it but it had been drilled in place. There was also something visible through the paint on the wall. Looks like stains, not sure what kind, but it's right below the bolted pic. Just paint over it, they never know. I will never stay there again. Oh, yea. The room was 113. This was last...
Read moreA nightmare. My wife and I checked in after a long drive from Fort Worth. After we checked in and were charged ~$100 for the room - I noticed the sign on the counter: "OUR POLICY - NO REFUNDS!" When we got to to room, it was run down and dirty, had NO lamps at all, only a hideous florescent strip mount on the wall. That was the only light in the room. What happened later was much worse. We went to bed and turned off the lights around 11 PM. About an hour later at midnight, we were woken and badly frighted by a very loud pounding on our door. It scared us badly. Gathering some courage, we looked outside the door, but whoever had pounded on the door had disappeared quickly. And hour and a half later the same thing happened again! At that point, despite it being now almost two AM - we decided we did not feel safe, packed up our belongings quickly in the car and left the room. I went to the office and rang the night bell. The owner and his wife, appeared behind a glass window and I told him what had happened, that we were badly frightened, did not feel safe and we demanded our money back. Neither the owner or his wife spoke English well, but he understood enough to refuse to refund our money. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE NO MATTER HOW TIRED YOU ARE FROM TRAVELLING. It is not part of a chain, and we have...
