We live here in Cleveland Texas, but moved from Splendora a couple years ago... we would pass Creekside up practically everyday commuting back and forth to work (or Wal-Mart) we decided to try Creekside Offroad and LOVED the trails, mud, and dozens of other attractions there, but what got us hooked is other good ole fashioned people that also go there is what we love most about it, if you get stuck plum up to your knees in mud (if you aint gettin stuck, you aint havin fun) someone will come along and get you back on the trails n even better back to having good ole fashioned family fun ! We just got back yesterday, theres RV hook up's n a "wash down" place to clean your toys at, vendors selling good food n cold drinks too... they really know how to have a good time out there... we always meet new people there and see friends n family each time we go, I gave em a 5 star cause we belive in spending quailty time outside, in the woods (not inside where our kids are glued to the TV, or some related device or game). I encourage anyone who hasent been to just go try it for a day, take your dirt bike, 4 wheeler, or side by side n havee some real fun... I dare ya, you wont regret...
Read moreIts a good park for the area. It gets a little too crazy for us during special events, so we tend to avoid those weekends. Really sandy. Gets extremely dusty without rain. Gets extremely swampy after a heavy rain. 🤣🤣.. Youve got to find it when its just right. The creek runs through the park. Good place to park (on the beach area), and let the kids play in the water. There is a good mix of trails, swampy/marshy area, open road ways, etc. Some trails are too narrow for wider/longer buggies, but they manage. Some of the holes will SWALLOW buggies and act like quicksand. I've witnessed many tow-straps broken and many winches burn-up trying to pull people out of some of these holes. The top seems hard, but once you break through the top layer, Good Luck! Its close by, so we will still plan to go here on the occassional weekend.
Update Spoke with, I believe the owner, they allowed us to ride out there on MLK day. Very friendly & curteous. I have increased to 5 stars now as we felt that was very admirable. Decent pressure on their qash rack. They have put up more signs to show the way back to camp. They have come a long way. We will gladly keep...
