Village West Marina & Resort — Hotel in Stockton

We keep our boat in a slip at the marina. Our stay has been very good and we like the marina and all it has to offer! We had family coming in with two rv's and we rented three bungalows. We reserved a spot at the guest dock about two months or more prior to arrival of family next to the rv spots so we could be close to our family. We tried up at the guest dock and went to Garlic Bros. for lunch. Got a call that we were on the wrong side of the guest dock. We were on the Yacht club side. So we went to move our boat. Motored around to marina side guest dock between the rv spots and dock. Well there is a big pipe at the corner of the dock that does not have any protection on it. I feel that I am a strong woman and can help dock our boat with confidence but the wind was blowing and it blew our boat right into the big pipe without any protection. Needless to say we have two big scrapes in the hull into the fiberglass one deep enough you can see the fibers. We did not have a problem moving the boat, but the problem is, if the marina has a guest dock for boaters to reserve then the guest dock should be maintained and kept safe for all guests who reserve a spot. The Bungalows are located on the California Delta in Northern California off of the San Joaquin River. It is in the city of Stockton. Many come here for water skiing, boating, fishing and other water activities. It is tucked away and a hidden vacationing gem!||||We have stayed here 2 times now, and every time its a fun experience. Three of the Bungalows fit up to 4 people max. One fits 2 and there is one that is ADA wheel chair accessible. You have to reserve way in advance because these go fast!||||All are equipped with full kitchen, refrigerator, microwave and range (no oven), dishwasher and have A/C for those hot summer days. Free wifi and cable TV, ceiling fans. The large deck has a gas grill for BBQing and deck furniture. You can fish right off of your deck! ||||For extra cost you can get boat and trailer storage for $20.00 (USD) per night which includes your launching. This place is amazing probably the best destination in the Delta. Has everything you need in RV park , bungalows to rent docking for overnight stays appears to be two restaurants and a store lots of slips if you want to keep your boat up there two brothers who put their heart and soul into creating an amazing destinations they must’ve dumped millions into this place to make it a gleaming 21st century location. Just drop by there but next week I’ve got friends coming with their RV and will meet them at the dock as we pull in with our boat from Sausalito.
