VERY EASY MY FRIEND.THE FRIENDLINESS,THE EXCEPTIONAL KINDNESS AND PROFESSTIONAL.ATTITUDE, FROM THE ENTIRE OWNER FAMILY WAS UNMATCHED BY ANY.OTHER.THE SENSE OF SINCERE APPRECIATION OF OUR BUSINESS WAS QUITE APPARENT.THE VERY LEVEL OF CLEANLINESS.OUR FAMILY,TRAVELS ALL OVER THIS COUNTRY FOR OVER 15 YEARS AS WE WORK WITH VETERANS & THEIR TREMENDOUS PERSONALNEEDS.WE STAY AT MANY,MANY MOTELS OF ALL KINDS,TYPES AND BRANDS FROM HIGH TO LOW DEPENDING UPON WHATS AVAILABLE AT THE TIME & PLACE.THE ONE THING I ALWAYS DO AS IT IS MY OWN PERSONAL PET PEEVE.I.ALWAYS CHECK BEHIND THE TOILET AS VERY FEW CLEANERS ACTUALLY GET DOWN ON THE FLOOR TO CLEAN THAT LITTLE SWEET SPOT BEHIND THE TOILET.THIS BATH FLOOR WAS EXCEPTIONAL CLEAN.THE OTHER THING IS THAT I ALWAYS TAKE A WASH CLOTH AND WET IT LIGHTLY AND WIPE THE UNCARPETED CARPETED AREAS.NEVER,EVER HAVE I EVER,EVER FOUND ANY FLOOR ANYWHERE IN ANY MOTEL THAT DID NOT ABSOLUTELY SHOW DIRT ON THE FLOORS.EVERY SINGLE ONE.DONT TAKE OUR WORD FOR THIS CLAIM.DO YOUR OWN DUDILIGENCE.NEXT TIME YOU VISIT ANY MOTEL ANYWHERE AT ANY TIME AND UPON CHECKING INTO YOUR ROOM DO EXACTLY AS I JUST STATED HEREIN.YOU SURELY WILL SEE FOR YOURSELF ....UNLESS IT IS AT THIS QUALITY INN IN SULPHUR SPRINGS,TEXAS.I.DID MY USUAL ACT AS STATED HEREIN...WHAT THE HEAVENS HECK,ARE YOU KIDDING ME....ABSOLUTELY PERFECTLY CLEAN.NOT EVEN A PIECE OF LENT OR DUST.QUITE UNBELIEVABLE INDEED.I.SUPPOSE IT COULD HAVE BEEN A FLUKE.A PARTICULAR PIECE OF REAL.ACCIDENTALUCK.A FUNNY UNEXPECTED THING OCCURED.WE HAD RENTED A REALLY NICE JUCCUZZI ROOM FOR (4) DAYS.THE FIRST WE WENT TO.UTILIZE SAID JACCUZZI.IT FOR WHATEVER REASON IT WOULD NOT WORK.RIGHT AWAY THE OWNERS PROMISED TO.HAVE MAINTENANCE MAN FIX IT FIRST THING IN THE NEXT MORNING.FIRST THING THE NEXT MORNING WE WERE MOVED RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO.ANOTHER JUCCUZZI ROOM.IT WAS DONE IMMEDIATELY THE NEXT MORNING BECAUSE THE MAINTENANCE PERSON COULD NOT MAKE IT TO WORK BEFORE NOON.THE OWNERS CARED GREATLY THAT WE MISS NO TIME WHATSOEVER FOR WHICH WE HAD FOR.CRAZY GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.AND NO IT WASNT A FLUKE.THIS SAME FLOOR TEST WAS EXECUTED AS USUAL.PERFECTLY CLEAN UNBELIEVABLE FOR SURE.AND BOTH ROOM TOILET.BEHIND FLOORS AS PERFECT AS THE TEST OF THE FLOORS.AND ITS VERY IMPORTANT TO STATE THAT THE YOUNG LADIES OF HOUSEKEEPING ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL,VERY SWEET,POLITE AND KIND AND NON STOP HARD WORKERS.MOST DESERVING OF OUR TIP FOR CERTAIN.OUR STATUS REVIEW FOR STAYING IN THIS HOTEL FOR ALL REAL REASONS STATED HEREIN IS MOST ASSUREDLY AND UNEQUIVICALL Y AND ABSOLUTELY 10 STARS WITH 1000% RECOMMENDATION TO DO JUST THAT.I PROMISE YOU,YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED AT ALL IN ANY WAY GREAT BIG TV.VERY COMFORTABLE BEDS,GREAT BIG SOFT AND MULTIPLE PER BED PILLOWS.AND AS BEEN VERY MUCH STATED & DESCRIBED EXTREMELY CLEAN.PLEASE...IN THE AREA PLEASE TRY AND ENJOY FOR YOURSELF.YOU WILL DEFINATELY BE GLAD & HAPPY YOU DID.GOD BLESS...

Starting with the positives: ||Believe this hotel is under newer ownership -- they are friendly, and tried their best to be accommodating, but the property is NOT up to U.S. standards, at all (imo). Shocked that CHOICE HOTELS allows this place to be included in their portfolio of hotels. We ended up NOT staying overnight in this hotel -- requested a full refund on the spot, received the refund, then moved on to a hotel (H.I.) on the other end of town. I wish these people luck in bringing this place up to par with other hotels in the CHOICE family.||Ending with the NOT so positives: ||First room I was given had a bathroom "filled" with drain flies, and while the room looked to have been recently remodeled -- was done so "quickly" and "superficially". |Second room I was given had lot's of tiny "hopping" bugs (fleas? lice?) all around the wall air conditioning unit by window, and in carpet. |The third room I was shown had been "heavily" smoked in (this is a 100% non-smoking hotel). All 3 rooms were hotter then h@%%, which gave them a musty smell. ||Outside there appeared to be homeless people living in the parking lot out of their vehicles, and in one case in a make-shift tent. And -- the exterior doors to access the hallway with guest rooms is propped open and does NOT lock, at all (night or day). ||I'm a camper and literally throw a sleeping bag on top of dirt outdoors -- would much prefer camping to staying in one of these rooms.||Again -- super nice people, but a base level of cleanliness and comfort is expected when I "pay" for a room. Stayed 3/16/25 while in-transit from Alabama to Texas. The front desk check in was smooth and friendly. Taking us to our room to be sure we got in okay was a nice touch. The room was clean and seemed to have everything promised. However, the towels were nearly threadbare and had dangling strings on the edges. It was a challenge to dry off. Also, while the sink had blasting level water pressure, the shower was a trickle. I suspect there was a throttle on it to reduce water waste, but it was unpleasantly low. Water was hot though. The bed was firm and comfortable. The A/C in the room worked fine for us but it was March and cool outside. Of note, 68 was the lowest the unit would allow the thermostat to go, for those who like it cooler than that. Unfortunately, the A/C unit had a repetitive vibration noise when it cycled on that was loud enough to interrupt sleep (and I have a hearing deficit and don't sleep in my hearing aids!). The coffee available both in the room and in the lobby the next morning were undrinkable and I am not picky about coffee. All in all, I know that you get what you pay for, but all I need is a clean air-conditioned room, hot shower, decent towel, a decent bed and a reasonable cup of coffee the next morning. I only got half of that at this hotel. I make this trip several times a year and will not use this...
