Whistle Stop RV Park — Hotel in Sumpter

We loved it so much we added a night to our trip! Our wooded site across the creek in their group camp area was lovely. We had great views of the mountains, and the sounds of the creek and birds made a relaxing addition to our morning coffee. The dogs loved splashing in the creek- Perfect for a hot day. Although most sites are off grid with no utilities, they had a very accessible fill station and dump station with squeaky clean showers and bathrooms. Really enjoyed our stay here. Got a spot with water flowing right in front of our rig. You could hear the water which made for a relaxing stay. Owners are very nice and helpful if you have questions or need directions to a location. Great place for a base camp for riding side by sides. You can leave right from the rv park. Great open space for a large rig. If you are self contained it’s a great place. The owners are friendly and professional. The bathrooms are impeccably clean and comfortable!
