This place is great! We loved the location, the view, and the homey vibes. This felt much less like a hotel and more like a home without the hassle of Airbnb. I have found myself moving back towards hotels vs Airbnb, and this lodge offers the benefits of both. The self check-in and self check out are easy and I felt no reason to talk to a live person at all. The game room was clutch for our family. We escaped to the game room while the kids slept in and retreated there to watch the Olympics with our extended family. We been had a zoom meeting there for work. We also loved the washer and dryer access. After a long week of jumping into the lake, it was great to freshen up our clothes. We booked the studio, and our 10 & 11 year old slept on the pull-out bed. The kitchen was well-appointed, and we wanted for nothing. The coffee pot was like ours at home, and they used decor and finished you would pick in your own home so it did not feel or smell like a hotel. We come out almost every year and will definitely pick this property again but may get the bigger unit as the kids are getting bigger. The bathroom was great and as another reviewer noted you did have to get wet to turn the shower on I feel like that is how it goes about 50% of the time anyway. The bathroom towels were plush and the bath products seemed to be of good quality. The warm toilet seat was deluxe! I have zero complaints about this property...
Read moreThis place is great home away from home and more. Owners are hands on and that is what is so greatly appreciated in this day and age. Rooms are spacious and clean, beds are comfortable first night in a long time I actually got a full night sleep. The decor in the rooms are perfect the views of the mountain are serene. Up to date beautiful relaxing and more. The bathroom toilets heated toilet seats automatically come up when you are in front of them. Remote control as well to handle the toilet. The attention to detail these owners have paid attention to can only allow them the great success they deserve. The wood rocking chairs and table on the front when you enter the front door also sectioned off each one to feel some privacy. The swings all wood and the details to them are absolutely beautiful. The game room clean and very nice for some games for kids to play. I am in the hotel industry and I have to say this place outweighs any place I have every traveled with or too. I wish these owners all the best in there years to come. I see greatness in all you do and it is a breathe of fresh air to know you...
Read moreWe travel to Sunapee every summer to visit friends on the Lake. The Lodge offered us an amazing accommodation only about 10 minutes from our friends Lake House in New London. Traveling with our 18 month old, the two-story Suite #6 was perfect. The suite was extremely spacious with plenty of room in the downstairs bathroom for our pack’n’play, and a large upstairs kitchen/living area, as well as a balcony & back deck. Perfect for putting baby to sleep and not having to be silent! We were able to grill lunch on our back deck, and make a big breakfast with the cooktop/appliances provided in the kitchen. The hotel was very safe, clean and quiet. The pool was beautiful and never busy. Couches and a TV made for a great poolside lounge spot. The common-area pantry was stocked with alcoholic beverages, snacks and ice cream; super easy to scan the QR code and pay! Check-in/out was seamless. The Lodge is minutes from Sunapee Harbor, where there is a restaurant and general store/provisions. We highly recommend The Lodge if you are traveling to Sunapee! We will...
