Whitepath Lodge and Resort — Hotel in Talking Rock

We planned a trip in mid October to visit Blue Ridge. Wanted to experience the scenic train and to enjoy Fall in the mountains. I found the perfect option for 2 people in Whitepath Lodge which is located halfway between Ellijay and Blue Ridge, the Lodge is part of a community with a gorgeous swimming pool and golf course. Making the reservation was easy, good pictures of the unit and description, received texts for our trip plus instructions upon our arrival with a on line guide for the Lodge and things to do in the area.The unit is 2 floors open floor plan upstairs, bedrooms and bathrooms down. Our stay was enjoyable, quality linens and towels, comfortable bed, I needed to contact the office for a hairdryer which was delivered quickly. I would definitely return. The place was incredible! My family I would say got really lucky, as we pulled into the stay the owners Eddie and Marta were there on site and I couldn't have wished for better hosts. They responded immediately, and overly kind. We ended up switching to one of the rooms in the lodge and it was amazing. Everything in the place was brand new and clean. Internet and TV ran perfect for the later hours of the night but the view from our balcony/deck was breathtaking. The pool area is beautiful and has us already looking forward to booking again in the summer time! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful place, anyone with kids, for people needing to work if they have to, and just anyone out there looking for a nice place in the mountains without being in the boonies alone and no internet. The property itself was clean and nice and the staff where supper friendly but the fridge in our room work only some of them time so we had the throw out the food we had in the fridge and freeze then when I went to give my kids a bath the water was brown and we had a room by the office and they keep the outside office lights on all night which is fine except they didn't have curtains to close only blinds for the windows in the room so the light shined through the windows all night and was really bright and made it hard to get a...
