Do not bother. Nice people that work there but the course is in awful shape. The nice people are the only reason they get two Stars. The tee boxes need to have drills to get the peg in the ground and the blue tees are mostly dirt. Not good for a 6000 yard course. Too many blind shots. The greens were Ok but they are postage stamps. Out side of the fairway and 3 yards of rough they do not cut the grass. It is high weeds surrounding every hole and you cannot see most of the holes from the tee boxes or most landing areas. The yardages are off in the book they give you. The other negative is on average it Is 200 yards plus from green to the next tee and you are crossing roads and in some cases driving down them to get to the next tee Box. This course needs a complete redo. It was forced in the land they had to work with and...

It had some AMAZING mountain scenery on a couple of the holes! The overall quality of the course was in really good shape considering they have had 9" of rain in the last week. The long grass was really long because it hasn't been able to be cut with the extra rain but our family enjoyed ourselves.
The only real drawbacks were losing tons of golf balls to the woods & long grass; and not having an on course beverage cart. To be fair to the course though, the pro shop did warn us about the lack of beverage cart.
I would definitely recommend as long as you come prepared and are also ready for a...
Read moreThis course must be difficult to maintain. Tucked inside a country housing development, it winds through the hills near ellijay, ga. Every hole appears to run through a ravine. Today we negotiated soggy fairways and cart path only conditions. I personally wont return unless it is dry. I found it to be a difficult course (my first visit), with tricky distances to consider. Stray 15 yards either way, and you'll be lucky to find your ball. Greens were cut very short, and were still slow. Most have damage. 18th hole is a great finish, very picturesque. This is a course not.for the faint of heart. Pay attention to the website hole descriptions. These are on the money. $45.00 greens fees would have been fair if the course was playing well.
