This campground was gorgeous, but very popular and busy on the weekend. The sites were pretty well spread apart though, so we didn’t hear much from our neighbors and most people were respectful of the quiet hours. We got there earlier in the week and were able to find a first come first serve site. It currently costs $22 per night here, which I felt was fair since the bathrooms were well maintained and we could walk to the lake. The only reason this place didn’t get 5 stars was because there was a drowned rat in the drain of the potable water by our site… no one noticed it and it remained there all weekend. 😱 The previous campers in our site had left trash all over as well, we picked up a ton of it but we noticed a lot of people hadn’t been picking up after themselves. Here’s your gentle reminder to leave it better than you found it when camping in our national forests! We all know they’re severely underfunded and understaffed so every bit helps! 💚

We came here in August and were blessed with the weather. All 3 days that we stayed here were sunny and hot. Because the campground is located near the water, the children swam in the lake each day. I also found a small river nearby and the children enjoyed learning how to fish.

Spent a couple nights camping and fishing. Very good campground. Had water and vault toilets, Level parking pads. Shore fishing access at top campground area and near boat launch. Shallow water in those areas. Kayak or boat would have been MUCH better.

Very clean and spacious campground. We came up on Wed without reservations and were able to find a spot for our 36ft rv without any problems. Lots of FCFS spots. They did fill up by Friday. Lake is clean and warm enough to swim in and spend a whole day in the water. Great for paddling and canoeing in the am or evening. Lots of jetski and boats on weekends during the day. If you paddle west, you can see Mt. Raineir from the lake. No fish in the lake this July of 2022. This lake is located in the jet fly by area, so be prepared to hear very loud jets several times a day, their are kinda cool to watch over the lake, but oh so loud! Sounds like hell breaks loose. Also no birds in this area, which feels weird. Mt. Raineir national park is about 1.5 hours away. There is a cool dirt road that starts from the campground entrance. Fun for ATVs and dirk bikes. Many roads to explore. Lots of creeks and wildlife around. Including cougars, deer. Dump station is in the campground, free for campers. No fresh...

Bumping Lake Review

Bumping Lake in Washington is straight fire! The scenery is insane, with towering trees and crystal-clear water. It's like a little slice of heaven right here in the Pacific Northwest.

I went hiking around the lake and the trails were on point. The views of the surrounding mountains and the lake itself were breathtaking. We even spotted some wildlife, which added to the excitement.

If you're looking for a chill spot to relax and connect with nature, Bumping Lake is the move. Bring your hiking boots, camera, floatations, canoes, swim gears and a have yourself a blast, you won't regret it!

Rating: 5/5 stars

Recommendation: Don't miss the Sunrise or the sunset for the most epic...
