Very clean and spacious campground. We came up on Wed without reservations and were able to find a spot for our 36ft rv without any problems. Lots of FCFS spots. They did fill up by Friday. Lake is clean and warm enough to swim in and spend a whole day in the water. Great for paddling and canoeing in the am or evening. Lots of jetski and boats on weekends during the day. If you paddle west, you can see Mt. Raineir from the lake. No fish in the lake this July of 2022. This lake is located in the jet fly by area, so be prepared to hear very loud jets several times a day, their are kinda cool to watch over the lake, but oh so loud! Sounds like hell breaks loose. Also no birds in this area, which feels weird. Mt. Raineir national park is about 1.5 hours away. There is a cool dirt road that starts from the campground entrance. Fun for ATVs and dirk bikes. Many roads to explore. Lots of creeks and wildlife around. Including cougars, deer. Dump station is in the campground, free for campers. No fresh...

The only reason this place didn’t get 5 stars was because there was a drowned rat in the drain of the potable water by our site… no one noticed it and it remained there all weekend. 😱 The previous campers in our site had left trash all over as well, we picked up a ton of it but we noticed a lot of people hadn’t been picking up after themselves. Here’s your gentle reminder to leave it better than you found it when camping in our national forests! We all know they’re severely underfunded and understaffed so every...

I went hiking around the lake and the trails were on point. The views of the surrounding mountains and the lake itself were breathtaking. We even spotted some wildlife, which added to the excitement.
