Just "STOPPED INN" at the Goldfield Stop!! 🤠 After passing by this place years ago, we were delighted to see the store/boutique and the "Stop Inn" both open for business, ready to serve weary desert wanderers! I just needed a cold drink, but we ended up leaving the store "Rusty Cove" with a couple fun pieces of merch and artwork. Check out the pictures below! They have local art and a lot of variety. The owners are good people, and the young lady running the store was very helpful and friendly! 👍 This is also your "one stop shop" for historic adventures around Goldfield. You can get info on touring the old schoolhouse or the infamous Goldfield Hotel right here at the Stop. They are also a wonderful resources for information and other tours around the area! Usually we just push on to Tonopah or hit the Goldfield Welcome center to stretch our legs, but from now on we will be stopping here to check out what kind of neat stuff they have and to say "hi" to the owners. We are hoping to stay in one of the rustic "Stop Inn" cabins in the future also. I will update this review if that happens! We are glad to see small businesses pop back up in these historic towns! Take a minute to stop and support them so the legacy of these ghost towns and their history lives on ✌️ -Mojo Mojo.Adventures / YouTube

This place is a hidden gem! We limped into this town with vehicle problems and were relieved to find this gold nugget. The owners have done a wonderful job of making you feel that you have stepped back in time to an era where life didn't have a rat race, and a handshake was the equivalent of a signed document. The iron bedstead was neatly covered with a hand stitched quilt, barnwood accents throughout, vintage objects worked into the decor..... I absolutely loved all the homey touches and creative uses of old objects! The room is decorated with professionally done area photos for sale. There are books to read. If you must have a TV, bring your laptop top and DVD as the Wi-Fi is what you would expect for a high desert area. The town looks very quiet and unassuming but is home to a rich history, part of which includes the fact that at one time it was the largest city city in Nevada. The owner has a very interesting pamphlet in the room and offers tours and many suggestions of things to do in the area. Now I want to come back on purpose! PS. As you pass through this area be sure to check the surrounding hills for small herds of wild donkeys.

This was a welcome surprise to the end of a long journey of a day. I read reviews on this place and I kept being drawn to stay there. I told my husband I’m just going to call and see if I can book us a room for the night. Jeri was wonderful in helping us set up a reservation for Rosie’s Room. We arrived just in time to see the grounds a little bit and Jeri gave us a little tour. It was so cool! Like a step back in time with modern conveniences. They have rebuilt everything! Steve has done a great job on all the wood working and making everything look nice and cozy again. You can feel the love and passion they have for what they have done. The kindest people. We didn’t get a chance to do more than just sleep but my husband and I talked about coming back with our kids to stay and explore. Possibly in the spring. It was magical. You won’t regret stoping and staying at this gem of a place! The bed was firm but comfortable. The sheets nice and soft and pillows were great. A surprise on the ceiling awaits you when you turn off the lights to go to sleep. We woke up feeling refreshed and ready for another day of driving.
