Fun keeps improving. So countryfest developers at your request I give you my feedback honestly. I've been going to this for 10yrs+ and my mother for 20yrs. So here goes...this yr was the worst mud I've ever seen and the amount of straw put down for the last day...should have been put down the NEXT day after the rain. The handicap accessibility really isn't. I saw an older lady sitting in her wheelchair in grass on the hill surrounded in mud. (Not really sure how she got there with family) Get some artists that haven't been there in the last 5yrs for headliners! Make me want to come back. (I just gave up our RESERVED seats this yr for that reason) STOP charging me the price for 3days that I paid for 4 days of music For the last 8yrs. I have enjoyed it yes but at some point stop taking advantage of us....those who are not drunk for 3/4 of the wknd. The upper deck looks nice but now I know where my money went. Why the change of artists on the main stage? I'd rather sit in the seat I paid extra for to watch good artists like Phil Vasar, and Lauren Alaina on the main stage. (I can still get my drinks) I do have to say this yr staff was the nicest I've seen and still controlling the craziness. Thank you yes for the people watching and a good time! I enjoy reconnecting with the same people yr after yr. But I will say you've lost my business for a RESERVED seat 3 day wknd pass. I may return for 1 day but nothing more. #wishingforbetterimprovements. I'd love to...
Read moreTHE DUST FROM THE GRAVEL WAS HARD TO NAVIGATE. IT WAS AWFUL DUSTY AND HARD TO BREATHE! Seems like it must be cheap because we did 5 festivals this year and it was done in all of them. I wish that all the venues could change it. There were people helping people who were stuck in it in motorized wheelchairs. So I got an answer that this was NOT for Louder Than Life, this was the wrong festival. But we did do Rock Fest and the gravel was the same as Louder Than Life. We did have a great time, barring the tornado evacuation. So much so that we bought tickets for next year's VIP. Which is the best VIP ever. But the gravel was the same. And since everything was up hill my husband pulled my walker up the hill. And now that I know this is to Rock Fest, I do have an issue with the side stages. The ADA platforms need to have chairs! Not all handicap people are in wheelchairs. Also seats for our 1 companion. This is a common thing at ALL the other Festivals. Could we please get the chairs for the side stages? I'd like you to know that we do make friends at every festival. We're in Holland Michigan. We made friends from other festivals and one couple that live on the east side of our state suggested Rock Fest. I'm so glad they did. It is the BEST...
Read moreThe fest has great staff. The security staff are very friendly. The selection of bands are popular. The only thing I would change is handicapped parking and information. It appears that they are not very informative about where to park. That you get a different wrist band if you go to a specific gate. That information was shared on the last day. People do not park correctly. It changes how many parking places are available. People should be able to go in and out of a gate closest to where along the fence they are parked in. Camping passes are required to get to the campground area. They question whether you are indeed in handicapped parking or not. We the people who have physical disabilities have a hard enough time accessing the grounds. It makes it tough when you are being questioned about it. The parking along the fence is a great idea. Just manage the people and understanding could use improving. The variety of vendors is wonderful. Prices of food are reasonable. The have fresh water stations for hydration . This is great news for safety of guests. I highly recommend...
