I am very disappointed in our stay at the hotel. If I could get a refund I would! I stayed for 5 nights for my brothers wedding. The only thing good about this hotel was it was close to my brothers home. First off, the room was dirty when we arrived. The bedding was damp. Our room was not cold at all. I have 2 babies. I went to give them a bath and there was MOLD at the bottom of the shower curtain. Housekeeping did not clean our room. We had to track them down and ask for new towels multiple times. The fan in the bathroom did not work. Our toilet was plugged up and when we went to inform the front desk, they handed my father a plunger to do it himself even though it was already plugged up? The breakfast was disgusting and limited of options. Worst coffee I have ever had. No milk, and the only thing available to drink besides coffee was the orange juice. Staff was not friendly and unhelpful. The BIGGEST COMPLAINT: I was outside with my 2 babies and a creep was in the parking lot following me. He was making it known he was checking me out, and staring at my children. He stopped by my car and stared at me. Then proceeded whispering things and walking around me. I was scared. I went inside to the front desk to inform them, and the front desk guy laughed and shook it off. Glad to know my children and my...
Read moreAfter 36 hours of toughing it out through a nearby city wide power outage, my 76 year old mother had enough and asked that I find her a hotel room since the power company update was still showing an extended time to power restoration. I live in Jefferson and since we were experiencing some sickness in our home this weekend and were unable to comfortably welcome mom, I stopped by Best Western Plus in person to inquire about accommodations for her. I was able to book a room quickly and for a great price and she was even able to come for an early check in. As she was packing and I was preparing to go pick her up, her power came back on in her home. I quickly called and was able to cancel the reservation successfully. A huge THANK YOU to the staff member who helped me for his patience, understanding and great customer service during such an unpredictable situation, allowing me to take care of my mother the best I could this weekend. We have out of town and out of state family and friends that will most definitely use this hotel when needed and I will be recommending to anyone who asks! Update: Power went out again due to crews still working in the area and I was able to rebook the room quickly, thank you! She really enjoyed her stay from the room to the amenities and everything in between,...
Read moreFirst time here with a friend visiting her family for Easter. Very clean and friendly hotel.👍 When I worked at a Comfort Inn we had to wear uniforms. It doesn't look appropriate to wear snow boots and jeans for housekeeping, makes me wonder how much cleaning gets done??? It says alot to wear a nice hotel apparel for the job you do. Not exercise pants either. 👎 Only suggestion I have is while sitting in dining room please get rid of the chandelier hanging in front of wall TV. Defeats purpose of sitting anywhere, whether at tables or couch to relax and watch TV. There's plenty of light that you don't need the chandelier. Maybe a pretty antique wall clock would be nice hanging on wall in dining room. Yes I know we have a TV in our room but it was a nice chilly day and sunny to stay cooped up in our room. We enjoyed conversing in the dining room after breakfast...
