Camp Walden — Hotel in Town of Bolton

Loved camp Walden in the sixties w ith Mel Besden and Dolph Shays as owners and loved yes loved being chased around the camp by Adolph Shays daughter ss my older sister Gail my cousin Michael my age 64 or 65 went to summer camp their foe the summer part of the summer as we had fun and watched my our cousin Michael destroy the mess hall with a bow and arrow through the mess hall window as my uncle had to pay for the window as I got 🏆 for being a top notch archer and won 💃 contest for being the best dancer doing the twist and other dances also As the old people there walked down the center yellow line in the middle of the road as a summer tradition sang folk camp fire songs but at the end hated our closing banquet as the steaks were like shoe leather tough and hard to eat ouch on our poor teeth but hated leaving as we were nearing school again and wanted stay at camp longer as I wonder what Adolph Shays daughter is doing now these day's as I...

Great Camp! Seriously, this is the place you want to go for a week of sports, nature and fun! Well maintained and excellent staff. We've stayed there with our Airstream during the Woodstock Fruit Festival. Please not that this is not a place for RVs. This was an exception for the festival. They have cabins and available tent camping options. Showers have great hot water and a quite clean. Toilets too. The beach is small but clean and they have some great water toys for you to use at designated times.

There are tons of basketball courts, large soccer field, tennis courts, ball hockey rinks, go-karts and so much more!... all very well maintained. I wish I was 8 years old and living every summer at...

I felt very welcomed as a staff member and felt that the experience over all was very enjoyable. I was very impressed by the facilities here and all the the activities that were offered for staff and camp members. The team had everything available here and made me feel happy to be there. The location was really nice. Everything was really nicely put together. This is a great place to visit!...
