The Rose Resort and Event Center — Hotel in Town of Durham

Was so excited for my stay in Windham but do not recommend this resort at all. Our experience at this property was very disappointing from start to finish. The floors were very noticeably dirty when we arrived, the ac looks like it has mold in it, and it looked like the refrigerator had an old Dunkin bag in it? The overall cleanliness did not match what was advertised. On our second night, the TV stopped working because the remote batteries were dead, and we had to wait 40 minutes for a resolution on vacation for something that should have already been provided. Have stayed here before|When Mary & Bruno where the oweners new oweners an of May 2018||Have been going to the Rose Motel for the past 5 years with my wife and sons|But this year we found that the place was not as clean as in the past and the new oweners where on site but never came over to introduce them self or just to say hello how are things||Also met familys that have been going up thair for many years with the same fealings about the new oweners and how un clean the place was||Not the way to run a business||||We will give a second chance next summer but we are hoping for the place to be...

Stayed at the Rose Resort this past weekend, and was pleasantly surprised. Compared to the pictures they have done some updates to the place The room was clean and very comfortable. I got to enjoy walking the lush greenery around the property and even found a pond. :) They also have a pool. I didn't get to take a swim because I forgot my bathing suit, but I did dip my legs in with my shorts which was much appreciated on such a hot day. It was a great stay. I will be...
