What a dump. Rooms do NOT look like the management photos! I played a game, "Guess the Mystery Stain". I had many opportunities to play, since the tv didn't work and there were stains on the sheets, carpet, linoleum, shower head (that was an easy one - MOLD), towels, bed spread, chair... you name it. Gross. My bedsheet had a disgusting stain on it (see photo) that was located right under where your bottom lays on the bed, and I couldn't stop thinking about what it could be all night. The mattress sagged in the middle and was thin and uncomfortable, I could feel the springs when I lay down. The floors were so gross I kept my shoes on. The "no smoking, no pets room" stunk like old sneakers, a wet dog, and an ashtray combined - like stale, dirty air that never gets circulated. The stove had a layer of greasy residue on top, and the shower was old and covered with a slick unidentified film (soap scum?). The showerhead had black stains around where the water comes out (mold?). The towels looked like they had been used to clean the floors of a truckstop. They were so old that they were grey (no longer white), thin and rough, with black dirt stains. They definitely could have at least been bleached to make them look clean. I decided that I would be cleaner if I skipped the shower in the morning. The doorknob was sticky and had something hard caked around the edge that flaked off when I scrubbed it with a Clorox travel wipe. I'm not going to tell you what color it was. I have never stayed in a room that gave me the dry heaves, but this one did. If I would have had another option, I would have gone elsewhere. All the other rooms were sold out in the area due to an event in Buffalo. The ultimate insult was that I paid over $200 for the room...
Read moreI had to stay here 2 nights for a work trip. I should have read the reviews and found somewhere else. This motel is nasty, plain and simple. It wouldn't be worth it at half the price. Actually getting my "reservation" fulfilled was a pain and the owner claimed my company never paid, so I had to pay out of pocket trying to check in (still waiting to see if that was a double charge or not).
The room is dirty and smells like an ash tray. There was a cigarette burn through the top sheet and "mystery" stains and hairs on the other sheets. I didn't get a photo of that before I got new sheets from the front desk guy (who insisted he had put out fresh sheets in this room), but I did get photos of the bathroom roaches and cigarette butt in the sink.
I know it's a small motel, and I wasn't expecting the Waldorf or Ritz, but a clean room should be the bare minimum if you're charging any amount of money to have people use your rooms.
TL;DR - Trashy motel. It's a waste of money, and you're better off staying...
Read moreHeater did not work, owner would not switch our room and told us that the heater is working 56'F in the room and he kept telling us it would get worm, it never did. The place is old, sketchy people stay there. Bank called and asked if I was staying there, after doing some investigation they have had many fraudulent charges after guest would leave they will try to bill you again additional hoping people wouldn't notice. I suggest paying in cash. They do not clear the snow so if it's snowing bad good luck getting out. Check in is about as old as it gets, I'm surprised they have a card reader. Very small rooms and the price is about the same a franchise hotel around the area. I just got snowed in and had to wait till the afternoon of the next day to get out and no they still didn't clear the...
