This place is trash absolutely trash. My hotel room door doesn’t work and had to wait over 4 hours just to be able to leave my room. They make you take out your own trash not just put it outside the room you have to physically take it around the outside and put it in the dumpster. NOT AN EXTENDED STAY. The kitchenette comes with absolutely nothing no flatware, no pots, no pans, no cups no bowls no plates. They told us we could buy kit h supplies from the front desk. Just avoid this hotel at all cost. Would be better staying at a homeless shelter where you at least have the bare essentials like soap and cups. Also if you happen to misplace your room key it’s 10 dollars to get replaced. No one working the desk after 10pm. Had another problem with the room around 10:30 left something in the first room and he hung up on me.

It is a great place to be but the rooms are not cleaned often (2 weeks before cleanup) Nothing there for kids to play with, the bed 🛏️ is so noisy, not sound proof, the walls are not solid so you can hear any single noise from the next room. Aside from these, the place is very good to be and you have your privacy.

Apparently, this is a newly constructed hotel, according to other reviews. Given how poorly this thing is accommodated, I'm not surprised it is clean for NOW, but this place will probably be absolutely wretched in a few years. Let me tell you why. For one, if you need a truly extended stay, apparently they don't come in and clean your room for 14 days. Unlike most hotels that come in and clean everyday, make the bed, refresh your towels, and so on. Talk about unsanitary!

The beds are god-awful. For being "newly constructed" and all, the frames are incredibly creaky for every single movement you make. And you're moving a lot because those things are extremely uncomfortable. The sheets are the only relatively saving grace here, but you'll notice they're loose on the mattress. Now, why is that? Because as I observed, the mattresses are thinner than your average mattress. And they're hard as a rock. I woke up every morning with my back hurting. The walls are PAPER THIN. Is a couple arguing next door? Don't have to question it. You can hear every single word they're saying. New neighbor move in and arranging they're things? You can hear it every hour anything is going on while you are there. And if you walk through the hall during the afternoon, you can SMELL the reefer rolling through that place like a chimney.

And you know how plenty of hotels have some sort of breakfast option? Not this one. Just a coffee machine downstairs to get something quick before you leave in the morning.

Want to bring all your own food? Make sure it's something you can microwave. Otherwise, you need to bring your own pans too. They have two small burners, but no pans or anything is provided. Bring your own paper plates.

I get the concept that this is supposed to be a mini-apartment-like situation, but this was put together on the CHEAPEST budget possible with only the CEO's profit in mind. If you can afford to go anywhere else, you should do that.

Oh yeah, and if you wanna watch TV, but it's raining, you can't. They have DIRECTV, which always goes out when it rains. So they couldn't even be bothered to provide you with minimal entertainment while you're paying for the whole damn thing. Go anywhere else....

WoodSpring Suites Rochester Greece: 145 Bellwood Drive, Rochester, NY 14606 – REVIEW; MUST READ Under the guise of Choice Hotels So, this has taken me a while to write this, and I generally never give reviews unless it’s positive. This experience was NOT positive. You can make a reservation, get a confirmation, but they just won’t HONOR the reservation. For those of you who may be familiar with a certain Seinfeld episode (Link) this was eerily similar with worse outcomes. My daughter was graduating from RIT with dual Masters (accelerated program) Summa Cum Laude (the HIGHEST) – as well as head of her area (there are 8 schools in RIT and there are about 20K students there). Students come from all over the USA/world to attend this University. Anyway, we live about 4 hours away. Reservations were limited in the area due to graduations in the area. I made reservations on 4/7/25. Granted, it was slightly delayed due to others coming to town from various parts of the country. Her graduation date was 5/10/25. On 5/9, the Friday before, it was raining in unprecedented amounts. Before we left, I even called to confirm our confirmation. We were told it was all set. We were 1 hour, 52 minutes from arriving when we were notified via phone that this was first come, first served, and they wanted to know when we’d be there. I conveyed I was en route about 2 hours away, but traffic was bad due to the weather. I conveyed I had a confirmation and further stated the confirmation #. The manager called me back 10 minutes later and said the other party they double booked arrived first, so we’d have to go somewhere else and they had no other rooms available. There were 3 of us. Thank God, I had my other daughter with me who after 45 minutes of frantic calls, secured another hotel about 45 minutes away. Thank you, Hilton for securing Hotel Canandaigua, Tapestry Collection by Hilton for us on Lake Canandaigua (Finger Lake). It was more expensive, but absolutely lovely!! Stay clear of this place (I have emails, names, confirmations), but I strongly recommend Hotel...

I’ve read all these posts and I feel inclined to say most of the “complaints” are about hotel policies and completely out of the control of the staff. Yes you have to take out your own trash & exchange your towels but they make it clear and simple from the moment you check in. It’s not a full amenities hotel; its purpose is an extended stay…ie temporary workers, people in transition from one home to another etc. not a place to have a vacation if you’re looking for the vibe of feeling “pampered.” They don’t clean your rooms everyday because that’s ridiculous when you basically “temporarily” live there. Other extended stays do offer dishes but you have to pay for these and half the time they’re old and nasty. The smell of weed is literally everywhere in NY, CO, WA, OR…because it’s legal so accept that or go somewhere else. If you smoke in the building you will get kicked out. So it’s not a party environment. Yes it’s a new hotel and there are some kinks, but the staff is constantly working on improvement. It’s clean, well lit and safe for women traveling alone and families. As for our personal experience Chelsie saved our our tails when the other extended stay (Best Western) literally booked us in the wrong STATE, then lost our reservation and tried to tell me we had to pay for two rooms because they didn’t have what we booked available! She was kind, understanding and helpful when I was in a complete panic! All the staff from the manger to the cleaning staff are positive, accommodating and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a temporary home away from home without frills for a reasonable price. That said the two biggest negatives are the WiFi is absolutely unreliable and you have to pay (WoodSprings its 2023 offer free WiFi for goodness sakes!) and there is not outdoor seating of any kind. Other...
