Wind in the Willows — Hotel in Town of Jefferson

Bob and Leslie are AMAZING! I’m writing this review just entering our room because I am so blown away by all the room has to offer and how kind both Bob and Leslie are. Our room is so beautifully decorated… I feel like I’m in a Chip and Joanna Gaines masterpiece! The bed is so comfortable, bathroom has heated floors, rain shower, shampoo, conditioner, lavender soap, body wash… which I need to buy, lavender organic cream, keurig with tons of choices of coffee/teas, milk, sugars, blueberry muffins, towels smell so good…. Mini refrigerator with a welcome bag on it from Leslie and Bob! Iron, with ironing board, own heater and thermostat, TV, coat rack, 2 beautiful chairs for sitting, cards and books in the room, WiFi- emergency lights. I can go on and on and on. We have rented the house for our wedding upcoming in July and know our guests will feel like they are staying in a 5 star hotel. We are beyond impressed and so thankful. We will definitely be back! My daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights for a relaxing weekend and to visit Hobart Book Village. Our hosts, Leslie and Bob, were so friendly! We stayed in the Cottage Room with was so beautifully appointed that I could see myself living there. The personalized touches, hand-written notes and reminders, and fresh blueberry missing upon arrival were amazing. Jefferson is pretty much in the middle of nowhere but thankfully there is a pretty good restaurant that's a 5 minute walk. The property is also very vast and beautiful with plenty of things to do if you choose - badminton, fire pits, etc. Plenty of sitting scattered around. I took a peek at all of the rooms and think the Cottage Room is the nicest. The bedroom was separate from the main room so there was plenty of space! Check it out if you want some...

Wow wow and wow! We rented a cabin locally and the power went out. We were completely bummed until we called Bob & Leslie. At 10PM at night they gladly welcomed us into their home. We were greeted warmly with some delicious homemade pumpkin bread, delicious snacks, and a fridge with some drinks. The room was super cozy, completely private and beyond well appointed! Details details details! From the rain shower with lavender soap, to the king sized COMFY bed, to the fairly lights which lined the cathedral ceiling — creating the most relaxing ambiance. My husband truly has a list of features to recreate at home! 💜 We WILL be back and booking again!!!! Also the referral to the Breakfast Club in the morning was spot on delicious!
