Already posted this in yelp but my downright unacceptable experience made me decide to post on google too....
I guess the food might be good. I wouldn’t know- never got to taste any of it bc the workers here are outright racist and basically ignored me and my boyfriend because we’re Asian.
After driving four exhausting hours from 7:30am to visit someone in the area we decided to stop by TBC for lunch. When we walked in, we stood and waited basically 10 minutes. No one gave us directions or bothered to tell us to sit anywhere. We had to walk to a lady all the way in the back where she looked around and said “oh just grab a table where you can find one”
Fine- We decided to grab a seat at the only table that still had a setting in the corner of the restaurant. We sat there for basically 15-20 minutes. The waiter- some man probably in his 20s just kept serving the table next to us. Never once bothering to get us some water. Or just quickly getting our order so the kitchen can get started. Or even acknowledging us and telling us he’ll be there in a sec. Just kept walking to the table next to us and getting their food, checking if it’s ok, getting them condiments. Once he was done with them, just walked back to the kitchen. Even the woman who knew we sat down didn’t stop by. Just passed our table and went to serve someone sitting behind us.
At this point I was furious but after driving for four hours and starving I had no energy to yell and tell them off. Just decided to leave.
Long story short- don’t be fooled by their cute menu filled with family love- they won’t serve you unless you look like everyone...
Read moreHad a lovely brunch with my friends over this weekend. We had a large party of 8 which they managed well. It was cash only so there’s your heads up. Food was phenomenal, the tbc fries are amazingly seasoned and the breads from any of the dishes were fantastic. All 8 of us loved our food, and Ron (owner or manager) was kind enough to keep us busy with some history and storytelling while we waited for the food. He made sure everything was perfectly cooked and prepared and was even kind enough to have us try some extra items on the menu. We all left full and satisfied. The message and purpose of The Breakfast Clubs volunteer work is admirable. I’d recommend trying their GriddleCake, frittatas and French toast. Overall Ron was exceptional at making our brunch prefect. We...
Read moreEnjoyed a great breakfast with my boyfriend Bob and his boys at the "The Breakfast Club" in Jefferson NY. I really recommend this place great food..it is a non for profit place that the proceeds go for feeding the hungry children This is all volunteer people working, the money for the food goes back to cover costs and the tips go to the hungry children. The woman named Amy greeted us and told us all about their place, made a joke about service being lousy(really wasn't) but the food being great.(excellent) Everything made fresh to order, homemade breads, and other interesting foods on the menu, so if your ever in Jefferson go to the breakfast club Sunday thru Saturday ...
