This place is fantastic. My girlfriend and I needed a last minute room, and had called Bridgeview earlier in the day and got the voicemail, which I didn’t leave. We ended up driving all around looking for Hotels until Bridgeview actually called us back, just by caller ID! A couple left early and a room opened up right at the perfect time, and AM I HAPPY we stayed here. Never have I walked into a motel room and been hit with smell of… FRESHNESS!!! It was so clean and smelled so good. Every surface was spotless. I suffer from a mold allergy and often have to check my rooms, not here, this place has nothing like that. The family that runs it is so nice and they are friendly and pleasant to deal with. We spent some time talking with both of the owners and had a great time doing so. AND…It’s in such a perfect location. From the back yard, as well as some rooms, you have a clear view of the 1000 Islands bridge and you are free to roam the huge open back yard. They offer accommodations for smokers outside of the room and each rooms comes with a small fridge and a TV. Another thing to add, is that the cleaning products used are better than the typical commercial products used. Everything smelled fresh and clean and like a small home of our own for the night. We will 100% be returning when we can. The price is also outstanding compared to some of the other places in the area. Cute and...
Read moreSo I've been by here a bunch of times but have never stayed until a couple weeks ago. My buddy and I were up there for the weekend to smash some smallies. Michelle and Tom were absolutely fantastic. Special thanks to Tom who gave us some fishing pointers and even a couple handfuls of baits, which was awesome. Don't go here if you're looking for a suite or 5 star accommodations. The rooms aren't huge but they're very clean and met our needs. We were there to fish the best bass fishery in the world so a bed, toilet, shower, and somewhere to plug in the boat were all we were looking for and the price was more than reasonable. Proximity to the 1000 Islands Bait Store, Wellesley Island, and Grass Point State Parks, as well as Clayton and Alex Bay are all plusses. Not to mention a donkey next door named Sprinkles...come on, who doesn't love a donkey named Sprinkles? We'll definitely stay there on our next trip, hopefully next spring. Thanks again Tom...
Read moreDue to last minute planning, based on the reviews on this site, I chose this motel for this past weekend. We are totally Platinum Marriott members and this was all a new experience for us. However, since the first phone conversation with Michelle, I felt confident that it would be a good new experience and it turned out to be true. Knowing that it is simply a place to sleep and shower with no extra amenities, it was all good. We felt very comfortable checking in with her and her husband Tom. We paid cash and she went over the basics. It was a great location right between Alex Bay and Clayton. The room was clean and the mattress was comfortable. My only suggestion is that one shelf in the bathroom would be so helpful to be able have a space to put our toiletries on. Michelle was most helpful in being diligent in getting us a room and we would certainly stay at her property again next time we...
