I always enjoy Nugget Lake. Clean park with a variety of activities. Boating, swimming, hiking, camping, and playground equipment. Friday and Saturday night movies for the kids and morning activities on Saturday and Sunday. Showers and restrooms are always clean. Camp sites are well maintained offering electricity for campers while still providing great tent locations. Arranged well so you don't feel crowded. Fire pits are also provided. Excellent trails that vary in difficulty. They offer boat rentals, too. Ice and firewood available for appropriate fees. Fees for showers are minimal. Park staff do a good job with monitoring noise levels at night so don't worry about sleep. The one thing they don't offer is WiFi but this is camping, not a hotel. Read moreWe stayed here a couple years ago and it is a really nice park. Clean (relatively new) bathrooms and showers. Nice play space for the kiddos. The upper number sites have more privacy.
