When deciding on a wedding venue we were looking for a perfect mix of having a weekend, lake getaway with our closest family and friends with the weekend culminating in our wedding on Sunday. Seneca Lake Resorts made this dream a reality. We were able to reserve cabins next to one another and nearby The Vista. We had rented a total of 10 cabins for friends and family that weekend. Our families had games set up, a cookout, and rented boats from the marina. A weekend full of fun and memories for everyone all thanks to the amenities of Seneca Lake Resorts. Our guests are already looking forward to a reunion.
The Vista setup allowed us to host the ceremony, reception, and cocktail hour/ dancing all in one location with it's flexible lawn, pavilion and white tent set up all side by side.
In addition Kevin, Colin and Denise were incredibly helpful throughout the process: answering our questions and accommodating our needs. They worked seamlessly with all of our vendors, and on the day of the wedding Colin was there to help initiate the setup and see if we had any questions and how he could help.
We would highly recommend The Vista at Seneca Lake Resorts to anyone who is looking to have an outdoor wedding overlooking Seneca Lake. Our wedding there could not have been...

From service and cleanliness to activities and convenience, this place has it all ans really gives you that..."glamping" experience. I personally know a few seasonals who have said absolutely wonderful things about this place and I agree 100%! Worth every single cent compared to hotels in Geneva. The loft cabin we rented was spacious, comfy and the view of the lake was a surprise, I was expecting trees to block . The putt-putt was so much fun and well built to really challenge you. Concessions is loaded with delicious options of everyone and the game room is a good time as well. The ship store is another fantastic place, all the essentials needed for our adventire from Ketchup to papertowels. There's plenty to do, even just a walk around the grounds. I look forward to...
Read moreExcellent, clean, courteous, well maintained. Best thing that’s happened to the park in easily 20 years. They transformed the marina and took a boring unused part of the part and turned it into a really nice campsite. Bathrooms are always clean, the employees running the dock and shop are super nice, the concession stand is great, the movies and live music are a great touch, and they have most amenities you could think of. The private business owned part of the park is far outshining the worsening state owned loops.. its a real testament to government run facilities when you see their new condos remain vacant and non-air conditioned while Sessler put up 50+ new cabins with AC, pet friendly, AND have fire rings being rented out all week long..
My wife and I were married at the main lodge in 2017 while under state ownership, so this place also holds a lot of sentimental value and we’re happy to see it flourishing under...
